NYXI Wizard Gamecube Switch Controller for Nintendio Switch/Switch OLED, Wireless Gamecube Controller with Hall Effect Joystick, Programmable, Mechanical Trigger, 6-Axis Gyro, Turbo & Vibration

I have several Switch controllers of all different styles and price points, but I think this NYXI controller is my new favorite. Here’s what I like and don’t like about it:****************************************************LIKES*Comfortable- the feel of this controller is very similar to my OEM Pro controller but I think this one is just a little more comfortable. It's got a little bit more mass to it and the position of the joysticks and buttons is just more comfortable in my bigger hands.*Programmanle- I love all the buttons on this controller. Size and layout are perfect, response while playing is instantaneous, and I love having the capability of being able to program them all. You can program the buttons, change layouts, and there are even extra turbo buttons you can program. This thing has a ton of functionality.*Charge- this controller charges quickly and holds a charge throughout long gaming sessions. If it does get low you can charge it while using it by plugging in the USB-C cable.*Rumble- the controller has nice powerful rumble motors which you can also adjust to 4 different settings. I love the max rumble but if you prefer it more subtle you have the option to tweak it.*Lights- these are by the coolest part of this controller. You can customize the lights to 9 different colors and multiple patterns of flashing, pulsing, or steady on all the time. You can even adjust the brightness. Just be aware you'll get less battery life if the lights are on all the time but it sure looks cool.*Instruction Manual- I don't say this lightly but this came with one of the most informative and well done instruction manuals I've seen in a while. This goes WAY above and beyond the simple button layout diagram. It's thorough, informative and full of good info. They explain every function and how to change everything.* Value - At $39.99 at the time of this review, I think this controller is a fantastic deal considering the awesome looks, build quality and functionality.****************************************************DISLIKES* None!****************************************************Overall I'm extremely happy with this NYXI controller. It's my new favorite and I would definitely recommend it.

One can never have too many wireless controllers, especially one with so many features. The controller is very similar to the original Pro controller that I have, weight and size-wise. The controls feel good, joysticks and buttons are accurate. The controller easily pairs to my Switch and plays well with other wireless controllers. The LED ring lights is a nice touch - not too intrusive but makes the controller look nicer.I like having extra buttons on the bottom that I can program, and the Turbo function is also mappable and works well. The rumble is nice and strong, but not too strong. The price is a bit higher than other 3rd party controllers that tries to replace the Pro, but this controller does have all the bells and whistles and beats the Pro in number of features.

One of my grandsons dropped his Lite and broke off one of the thumbsticks. We paired this controller with it so he can now continue to play games on it.

Lights are fun. Buttons feel, okay. The sticks feel really good, on par with Pro controllers.Battery lasts and lasts it seems like, outliving our dates pro controller at this point. Gyro and rumble both present. Back buttons are nice but turbo, as always, is garbage. Unless of course you wanna cheat at certain Mario party games.....Katie.....Recommended.

this controller works well as a pro controller for the Nintendo switch, as well as on PC. it feels sturdy and the LEDs are a nice touch.

Included instructions were a little difficult to follow along, but still helpful to get controller going. Installation was very straight forward. Using included USB-A-to USB-C cable, I connected the controller to the Switch dock. Once the controller is detected, you can easily unplug it and continue to use it wirelessly. This is a simple and quick pairing process. The lighting on the controller is a nice touch along with the textured grip. My only gripes concern the buttons themselves. The triggers have very little travel. The + and - buttons I wish were a little bigger to better differentiate better to the Turbo and screencap button if only to offset the placement themselves. Finally, the back paddles require extra effort to hit them all. More so than other controllers. All of these little nuances add up to make a difficult learning curve.

HONESTLY! Get this because I love it! I had to buy 3 joy con controllers that each one over 75 dollars. Due to stick drift and now I heard Nintendo will repair your controllers for free but I rather use this controller for the grip, the feel of the buttons, and just overall the look. I got to say it a must buy! It perfect for those fighting games like smash ultimate or mario kart so if you want to just stand your switch and not have to deal with low power controllers try this.
