Installation for under sink use takes some very creative plumbing , but it can be done. Ive had this in use for a few weeks now. Its performed very well. It self cleans with brushes when you empty the trap using the valve. It cleans fast and clear. It definitely works and blocks a lot of minerals. I out it in line with a standard water filter as well. Water is better than bottled water. Clogs weekly and doesn't backflush, have to take apart fully to clean filter otherwise particles get stuck. Leak from purge valve switch on bottom but only when turning it on to drain. Replacing with large Waterdrop version with backwash.
