It sits front and center and even though it is not the same brand as my plate carrier it blends perfectly. This fits pens, sharpies, a phone and/or a small note pad perfectly. It also has a rubber lined zipper for water resistance. Overall I am very impressed with the durability and quality and have referred a few co-workers to purchase it. The pull strings on the zipper also provides easy and quick access even with gloved hands.
