Review: Takes a few days, but then 100% super effective! - Takes a little patience and understanding, but wonderful. At first it seems anti-helpful. Since it attracts fruit flies to be trapped, for a while you will see MORE fruit flies. I'd say essentially no flies after maybe three days, or just an occasional fly. Take the top off and look inside, you see nothing, but look inside with a FLASHLIGHT and you see thousands of dead ones on the bottom. My guess is that it takes a few days to fully interrupt the fly breeding cycle. Review: No longer works - Got this every year and it was great but not this year. Like all companies they messed with the ingredients to save money and now they are not working. I watched them fly around it and not a one of them ever went in. It has been out for three days and nothing. Save your money their glory days are gone! ## Features - ATTRACTS AND KILLS FRUIT FLIES. Proven to work and easy to use, this fruit fly trap is designed to bait and kill quickly. Starts working as soon as you untwist the cap. Just set it where you don’t want anymore fruit flies and forget it! Lasts up to 21 days. - PROTECT YOUR KITCHEN AND HOME. This versatile solution is safe for use throughout your home and kitchen areas. Use in areas where fruit flies breed such as around kitchen sinks, garbage cans, dishwashers, dining tables, and near fruits and vegetables on counter tops. - SAFE AROUND KIDS AND PETS WHEN USED AS DIRECTED. Because this fruit fly catcher is plant-powered, you don’t have to worry when using this around kids and pets. Safe to use as needed around your loved ones, throughout the house, yet powerful enough to fully eliminate fruit flies and provide lasting defense of your household. - PLANT-POWERED AND POWERFULLY EFFECTIVE. Like all companies they messed with the ingredients to save money and now they are not working. I watched them fly around it and not a one of them ever went in. It has been out for three days and nothing. Save your money their glory days are gone! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GIVE IT TIME! It works! *by L***E on 23 August 2022* I have to say. I was very skeptical about a bottle just sitting there waiting for these fruit flies to go in it. But I can now say, a week later after buying this, this really works. It’s all about GIVING IT TIME. It did NOT work for me the first 3-4 days. But after the 5th and 6th day came. I was surprised. There might be one or two out there still but I really don’t have to worry about them any longer. This is great. It really works. Just have some patience. And shake the bottle as per instructions. I was shaking it once every other day so it can attract them more maybe. But I definitely recommend. It’s easy install, natural and most importantly. It works! FYI, the smell is really strong. If it gets on you, the smell stays but u can wash it off with SOAP and the smell goes away. But nothing crazy. ## Frequently Bought Together - Wondercide - Fruit Fly Traps for Indoors - Fruit Fly Killer - Pet and People Safe - Made in USA & Plant Based - 5.4 oz - 2 Pack - Terro Fruit Fly Traps for Indoors (4 Pack) + 180 Days of Lure Supply --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.eg/products/670814258-fruit-fly-traps-for-indoors-5-4-oz-2-pack](https://www.desertcart.com.eg/products/670814258-fruit-fly-traps-for-indoors-5-4-oz-2-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Egypt* *Store origin: EG* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
