It has exceptional brightness and throw, delivering an impressive 2,500 lumens and a beam throw of up to 306 yards. At just 4.05 inches, the EDC23 is the shortest flat flashlight in Nitecore’s lineup to date, making it suited for everyday carry. Designed for versatility, it provides five brightness levels and a Strobe mode. If the light turns off, the EDC23 features memorization and will return to the previously used mode. Its digital OLED screen displays the brightness level, remaining battery power, and more. For quick access, half-press and hold the mode button for Turbo, or fully press and hold it for Strobe. This makes EDC23 an excellent tactical flashlight as well. To prevent overheating, the EDC23 automatically reduces brightness if accidentally activated in High mode. This feature activates only when the light is turned on unintentionally and deactivates during regular use.The EDC23 can be conventionally charged through its built-in USB-C port. Once fully charged, the EDC23 can achieve a maximum runtime of 39 hours on its lowest mode and can be fully charged in just 1.5 hours. Additionally, the EDC23 features an easy-to-use sliding lock switch to prevent accidental activation. It comes with two lockout modes: Semi and Full. In Semi Lockout, you can Turbo and Strobe, while Full Lockout will disable all functions. At a weight of only 3.56 ounces, the EDC23 is easy to carry wherever you go. It is also weatherproof with an IP54 rating, and has 2-meter impact resistance, ensuring reliable performance in any environment. Review: Quality EDC made of quality materials at a good price - I have never used any nitecore products until recently since their products started appearing on my feed. I bought this flashlight as my EDC and I was not disappointed in the quality, fit and finish of the flashlight. The build is of excellent quality and it does not feel cheap like others I have used. The flashlight is easy to use. It's bright on the highest setting of 2500 lumens with a good throw and it is also very useful on the lowest setting when brightness isn't required. The buttons on the top of the flashlight function and seem like they will last a long time even if they go through some beating and rough usage. I work as an armed transit driver and this is perfect for me in all aspects. The screen is a nice touch because I am able to see what setting I am in and how much battery I have left. I love that this is a USB C type charging device. I think what really sold me on it was the fact that it has a safety switch. I have used other flashlights that tend to turn on in the pocket and burn my thighs. Since owning this product, I have not had it once turn on accidentally in my pockets. The clip on it doesn't feel cheap either. Overall the flashlight is of good quality and materials, and the functionality make is easy to use even for the novice user diving into the world of EDC flashlights. The integrated OLED display is remarkably convenient, letting you see your exact lumen output and remaining battery runtime in real-time so there's never any guessing. Between the solid mechanical lock switch that prevents it from accidentally turning on in your pocket and the rugged, heavy-duty build, Nitecore completely nailed the design on this one. ## Features - Powerful Flashlight - The Nitecore EDC23 is a high-performance flashlight capable of 2500 lumens and a maximum beam range of 306 metres. - Flat Shape EDC Flashlight: At only 10 cm, the EDC23 is the shortest flat flashlight in the Nitecore line to date and weighs only 100 g, making it easy to carry in your pocket. - USB-C RECHARGEABLE - It can be fully charged in just 1.5 hours via its USB-C charging port and provides up to 39 hours of continuous use before needing to be recharged.
