These are beautiful and durable keys for a very specific use case: when you want the fun aesthetics of an RGB keyboard, but still need to see the character markings in normal light. Fortunately, this is EXACTLY my situation. I no longer game or type in the dark, but I'm a hunt-and-peck typist who needs clear, distinct markings on the keys. The tops on these look just like an old-school mechanical business keyboard--opaque white-on-black--but the bottom half of each key is translucent with a very slight tint. They make for a beautiful light show, but I can still see the markings clearly in the light. NOTE: I CANNOT see the markings in the dark. The tops are VERY opaque.The keycaps arrived neatly packed in two stacked trays, making installation a breeze (although no key puller is included). They fit perfectly on my Corsair K68 keyboard EXCEPT for the spacebar, which is the right size but has different spacing on the posts. Other than the spacebar, there are lots of alternate key widths and markings for different layouts. There's no "Windows," "menu," "command," or "option" keys, though; you have to settle for "SUPER." The keys have a very "deep-dish" feel, with a pronounced rim around the edge. Another bonus: the characters on the keys are in the classic layout (shifted characters on top) rather than reversed as they are on so many modern keyboards.

these keycaps look absolutely incredible... however, after installing them and plugging in my new keyboard, I asked myself "wasn't I specifically shopping for shine-through keycaps?" it turns out, yes. I was. The 'white jade' keycaps (at the time of my purchase and review) advertise shine-through as a feature, which is not accurate. Shine-through, in keyboard terminology, refers to the letters and numbers on the keyboard illuminating. These keycaps do not shine through, meaning in the dark, you cannot see the letters and numbers on the keycaps because the backlight does not shine through. You have a bunch of apparently unlabeled squares to look at.The packaging, feel, sound, and overall appearance of these keycaps is good enough that I don't even want to return them. I am not quite *satisfied* with them, because I often need shine-through to identify some of the trickier keys (even though I can mostly touch-type). It's a tough spot to be in, because even as I type the review I am loving the feel of these keys, and aesthetically, every time I look down I'm impressed at the appearance of them, but if I go looking for the alt or fn keys, I can't see which is which without shining my phone flashlight on the keyboard, which is actually worse than my stock keycaps that lacked shine-through but were at least high contrast enough colors that I could see them in the dark.

The media could not be loaded. I love these keycaps! I did knock a star off for it being marketed as "shine-through" when they do not, but I bought these knowing this fact. They really do look like ceramic despite being plastic, and the feel and sound great.

The keycaps looks great, however the white inner painting on the top isn't consistent across all keys and you can see where the LED shines through in the poorly painted areas. Buyer beware on QC issues.EDIT: updated to 4 stars as seller reached out and offered a refund for the QC issues. Great customer service!

The keys are suitable for use, however, if you're expecting to read the letters for any reason then don't purchase this product. It blends in and even with back light LEDs you'd be hard-pressed to see them. Also there's an issue where some keys are "more matte/opaque" than the others. I suspect a quality control issue.

Love these key caps! They feel nice under my fingers and don't feel cheap. They're easy to apply to the aula 99 and feel sturdy. Definitely worth the price.

I love this for typing at my job (911 disaptcher) brings a little lite to the darker times!
