Thinkway Toys Neopets Electronic Voice-Activated Pet Green Kougra

Being a Neopets fan(atic), I went out and bought this toy the week it was released. :DAfter paying for it and taking it home, I excitedly tore it from the (rather bulky and unweildy) packaging and examined my new toy.The noises it made were a little strange... After all, Neopets are supposed to speak English, but this one just roars and purrs and mews.I was also under the false assumption that it could 'learn' English, and parrot some things back to you, but it seems it was just a rumour, as I have talked to it many times, and it still only does the creepy purring/growling thing. The packaging also makes no note of this feature.It's a little hard to talk soft enough to keep the Kougra 'happy', but still loud enough for its sensors to catch... Usually, the thing just hisses at me when I try sweet-talking it.Playing with it gets kind of boring after a while... All it does is make sounds and do a creepy head-jerking thing.However, despite its flaws, I think it's quite cute, and I'm happy to have it in my collection.My username on Neopets in thegreenmooseofdoom, feel free to give me your thoughts on the matter.

This is a very cute little toy and is nice to have for us addicts. However, it DOES get boring for some. You can only play with it for a little while in all honesty as it's not attention absorbing like the Pocket Neopets or the Trading Card Game.That being said, it's a darling little tiger that hisses, murmurs and growls playfully in response to your voice/enviromental noises. I think of it as a paperweight and enjoy teasing it and watching the ears waggle while I'm procrastinating over work.You'd probably have to be a Neo addict to get the most out of this :)!

I am a big Neopets fan and I love being able to actually INTERACT with a neopet. It was most fun when I first got it, but after a while it got less fun/interesting, but I still love playing with it. Your kougra purrs at you and makes weird happy noises when you're nice to her, and growls, roars, and shakes its head at you when you're mean, or too loud for its liking. I reccoment it even if you don't know what neopets is!

I think it is really cute! It doesn't roll around or that like the shoyru. I love the toy. I usually don't turn it on and let it sit on my computer screen. I turn it on and play with it when i'm bored. Its a really cute gift if your younger I guess,but if your really into neopets i'd get this toy!

It is the funnest toy I've bought in years (and I'm 15!!!) I've been on neopets for a long time... and for me to actually be able to have a Kougra sitting here beside me? It's great!

I like this one. I owe one of these. Its the blue one! Very cute! It doesn't move either! Its great to play cards with lol.
