## Description

Fritz Expel-P 20 Count

Review: It works - I mean it works. Instructions were easy to read and a little annoying to dose but w.e. only improvement would be a spoon and a bottle imo
Review: Great product! - I am a newish aquarist so sometimes I have no clue how to help my fish. Thankfully I'm apart of a fantastic fb group that helped a ton. With tons of searching to be sure it's safe for my fish. I have a nerite snale and from all my searching, most parasite treatments will slowly kill your snail. So far nerites are the only ones that seem to be sensitive to other treatments. So I went ahead and treated the tank with my nail in there. She did not handle it well and I found her closed up on her back. I removed her for the duration of the 24 hours did the water change and decided to leave her out. My fish were treated for those little red worms. My platty had them hanging out her back end and this cleared her up in 24 hours. But egg life cycle begins soon after even with 1 treatment. So I waited a week and followed up with a 2nd dose of it. 2 weeks now post treatment I have placed my snail back in the tank and she isndoing well. Fish all are well. I will say though my shrimp died :( but I'm not sure if it was due to the treatment or fault of my own. I felt like I should have removed them and placed them in my small tank. But it's all good I want to get a healthy live base going for them before I decide to introduce them again. Oh and my tank is 10 gallons so it was 1 packet. I do not know the measurements for a smaller tank because I didn't need to treat my 2.6 gal tank.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this something you need to give with food or just put it in the water?**
A: Each packet treats 10 gallons. You take water out and dissolve however many packets that you need in that water. Then you put that water back into the tank.

**Q: How long does it take for this to work? My betta has red camallanus worms hanging out of her body and I have dosed her for the past 2 days**
A: It takes a few days to kill the worms. They'll turn gray when they're dead. It will take a few more weeks to completely pass the dead worms.

**Q: Whats the difference between this and Paracleanse?**
A: They treat different type of parasites. People primarily use levamisole (Expel P) to treat roundworms like capillaria.

Paracleanse helps treat hexamita, protozoans, and some internal thread worms

**Q: Is this safe with snails**
A: Should be fine. I used it on a tank full of ramshorn snails with no problem. I'd be a bit cautious about using with Nerites though, based on what I've heard. Although it's definitely safer for invertebrates than Fenbendazole.

SAVED ALL OF MY FISH!!!! My pink angel would not eat and had worms really bad. Eventually all 3 of my angel fish had it and a few other fish became ill, once I begun treatment they started to get better. Well worth the money to save your babies.
