Paint chips, but it's not that huge of a deal to be honest. *by on Reviewed in the United States August 19, 2018* These work great. Lots of complaints about the blue paint coming off after use, and I can see that starting on one already but, it's not that huge of a deal really. If and when they get to a point where they could be mistaken for live rounds (although I do and suggest everyone keep them separated in the case they come in), a quick dip would put them back to blue for a while. They've been great for testing the action after a cleaning, and doing misfire drills.
