AutoForever Engine Motor & Trans Mount Set of 5pcs A6592 A6552 A4507 A6582 A6579 Compatible with 1998-2002 Honda Accord 3.0L & 99-03 Acura TL 3.2L

Purchased this kit to replace all of the original engine and transmission mounts on my 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 ... the original mounts were 21-years old. Little did I know until I had replaced them that they were all shot. So far, I've replaced four of them (only had a limited amt of time this weekend). The passenger side mount center section had separated from the rest of the mount, the two transmission mounts on the driver's side had fully separated from their mounting plates (rubber on both had sheared from one of the plates), and the front engine mount had lost it's vacuum seal in addition to simply failing (grasping the threaded rod, I could easily move it up and down after it was removed). You'll have to support the engine/transmission with a jack in order to remove/replace them. Be sure to use a very wide/thick block of wood between the jack and the oil pan or engine to distribute the weight and prevent damage. Having a long extension and a swivel socket will simplify the removal of the front engine mount ... the inboard nut closest to the engine is difficult to access. Prior to replacement, the 1-2 transmission gear shifts were very harsh with a noticeable clunk. After replacing 4/5 mounts so far, the shifts are much smoother. All of the mounts appear to be well made, and I had no issue replacing the damaged mounts with their respective new mounts. Great purchase!

The large front and rear mounts have a vacuum actuation section. BOTH of these mounts leak. So any time vacuum is used to dampen vibration, you get 2 vacuum leaks along with it. If I would have discovered this before I installed them, I would have sent them back. My bad. They were cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. In this case junk!

Made my engine alot louder then before but as long as it's not shaking like beforeI removed the oil to make it lighter to lift out then put the mounts on and went straight for a driveOnly thing is that my engines is ticking and over heating but atleast I know now it had that I fixed the mounts so I could fix it

Best price I could on the INTERNET for a quality product. Saved about 60 to 70 percent from Acure dealer price.
