The WoodRiver V3 Bench Plane is based on a classic, time-tested rock design. The original rock plane has been proven to be one of the most permanent and collectible tools in all woodworking for good reason. The WoodRiver V3 is a modern equivalent. They are not faithful reproductions, but are inspired by interpretations of these classics. The Ultimate V3 set includes four airplanes (#3, #4, #5 and #6), each with heavy stress relief ductile cast iron, precision machining, and extra-thick plain blades.
