Review: One hell of a streamer! - Wow! What a streamer. I upgraded from an old Apple AirPort Express and later an Apple TV to the WiiM Pro Plus, and the improvement in sound quality is incredible. Connected to my Bang & Olufsen hi-fi system, the music is noticeably clearer, with better separation, more detail and an impressively quiet background. I mainly listen to classical music, opera and film scores, and it genuinely felt like I was rediscovering my music collection. Even older recordings have taken on a new life. It’s worth every dollar—and then some. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be “wow.” Setup was quick and easy, and the app has been reliable and intuitive. Highly recommended. Review: It didn't Disappoint - I was looking for a Network streamer and did a bit of research on the internet and Youtube. After comparing the risk reward of each streamer, I finally bought one Wiim Pro Plus streamer. The initial sound from the Wiim Pro Plus connected to my Muzishare X7 integrated amp via a pair of Van Den Hul (The First) interconnect played through a pair of 92db Focal JMLab speakers was definitely better sounding than streaming via a Bluetooth receiver. Initially, even while I was streaming hi-res audio via Tidal, it sounded slightly flat and the sound stage felt a little compressed at the start. However, after watching a YouTube video on Best EQ settings by the cheapaudioman, I punch in the same setting he suggested and make some minor tweaks, and immediately the sound stage opened up, and the bass felt fuller. Now, I'm truly enjoying music that is streaming through the Wiim Pro Plus, playing Tidal via the Wiim home app. Be sure to fit this streamer with the best quality audio you can find, and it will definitely shine, it will not disappoint you. This is a highly recommended streamer at this price point for sure. ## Features - Enjoy seamless wireless streaming with AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Alexa Cast support. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CC2HWC7N | | Box Contents | Digital Optical Audio Toslink Cable x1, RCA to RCA stereo cable x1, USB Power Adapter x1, USB Type-C Cable x1, User Guide x1 | | Brand | WiiM | | Brand Name | WiiM | | Colour | black | | Compatible Devices | Speaker, DAC, Amplifier, Mobile phone, Tablet, HomePod, Apple TV, Echo, Google Home | | Connectivity Technology | Bluetooth, Ethernet , Wi-Fi | | Connector Type | USB Type-C, RCA , SPDIF (TOSLINK), COAX, ETHERNET | | Controller Type | Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, App Control | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 2,895 Reviews | | External Testing Certification | ANATEL: 077462414664 / Modelo: ASR003 | | Importer Contact Information | Cinerama Private Limited 16A Industrial Suburb, 2nd Stage Goraguntepalya Yeshwantpur, Bangalore - 560022 | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 14L x 10W x 14H Centimeters | | Item Type Name | WiiM Pro Plus AirPlay 2 Receiver, Google Cast Audio, Multiroom Streamer with Premium AKM DAC, Voice Remote, Works with Alexa/Siri/Google, Stream Hi-Res Audio from Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal and More | | Item Weight Unit of Measure | 14.1 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Linkplay Technology Inc. | | Manufacturer Part Number | ASR003 | | Memory Storage Capacity | 512 MB | | Model Name | WiiM Pro Plus | | Model Number | WiiM Pro Plus | | Network Connectivity Technology | Bluetooth, Ethernet, Wi-Fi | | Number of Items | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Spotify Connect, Works with Alexa, Google Voice and Siri, AirPlay 2, Google Cast Audio, TIDAL Connect, Roon Ready, NAS, DLNA, Home Media Server | | Packer Contact Information | Cinerama Private Limited 16A Industrial Suburb, 2nd Stage Goraguntepalya Yeshwantpur, Bangalore - 560022 | | Special Feature | Spotify Connect, Works with Alexa, Google Voice and Siri, AirPlay 2, Google Cast Audio, TIDAL Connect, Roon Ready, NAS, DLNA, Home Media Server Special Feature Spotify Connect, Works with Alexa, Google Voice and Siri, AirPlay 2, Google Cast Audio, TIDAL Connect, Roon Ready, NAS, DLNA, Home Media Server See more | | Supported Internet Services | Amazon Music, BBC Radio, Calm Radio, Deezer, iHeartRadio, Napster, Pandora, Qobuz, Radio Paradise, SoundCloud, SoundMachine, TIDAL, TuneIn, vTuner Supported Internet Services Amazon Music, BBC Radio, Calm Radio, Deezer, iHeartRadio, Napster, Pandora, Qobuz, Radio Paradise, SoundCloud, SoundMachine, TIDAL, TuneIn, vTuner See more | | UPC | 602581806073 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** WiiM - **Colour:** black - **Connectivity Technology:** Bluetooth, Ethernet, Wi-Fi - **Connector Type:** USB Type-C, RCA, SPDIF (TOSLINK), COAX, ETHERNET - **Controller Type:** Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, App Control - **Item Weight:** 14.1 Ounces - **Model Name:** WiiM Pro Plus - **Product Dimensions:** 14L x 10W x 14H Centimeters ## Images ![WiiM Pro Plus AirPlay 2 Receiver, Google Cast Audio, Multiroom Streamer with Premium AKM DAC, Voice Remote, Works with Alexa/Siri/Google, Stream Hi-Res Audio from Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal and More - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51DVrEsziRL.jpg) ![WiiM Pro Plus AirPlay 2 Receiver, Google Cast Audio, Multiroom Streamer with Premium AKM DAC, Voice Remote, Works with Alexa/Siri/Google, Stream Hi-Res Audio from Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal and More - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/614sZWwoB4L.jpg) ![WiiM Pro Plus AirPlay 2 Receiver, Google Cast Audio, Multiroom Streamer with Premium AKM DAC, Voice Remote, Works with Alexa/Siri/Google, Stream Hi-Res Audio from Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal and More - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71YZOjnL2qL.jpg) ![WiiM Pro Plus AirPlay 2 Receiver, Google Cast Audio, Multiroom Streamer with Premium AKM DAC, Voice Remote, Works with Alexa/Siri/Google, Stream Hi-Res Audio from Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal and More - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61tQtskpsJL.jpg) ![WiiM Pro Plus AirPlay 2 Receiver, Google Cast Audio, Multiroom Streamer with Premium AKM DAC, Voice Remote, Works with Alexa/Siri/Google, Stream Hi-Res Audio from Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal and More - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61uAqfJ8LGL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What are the differences between this model and the WiiM Mini?** A: Compared with the Mini, the Pro has more audio input and output ports, such as optical and coaxial output. It also has an Ethernet connection, supports Chromecast audio, a more powerful CPU, and larger memory. You can find the comparison table of Mini and Pro from this link - https://wiimhome.com/WiiMPro/Overview **Q: If i plug tv into optical in, and send the optical out to my dac, will the wiimpro pass the tv signal when the unit is off? how can i switch to tv?** A: The WiiM Pro won't pass the TV video signal, only the audio from its optical port. You can set the auto detection of audio input such that WiiM Pro will be automatically switched to SPDIF input mode (TV mode) whenever there's audio detected from the interface no matter which mode the device is previously at. **Q: Does this have an auto on function if using the spidf with a tv?** A: Yes, you can enable the auto-detection option of audio input to using the SPDIF with TV automatically. It'll be available by the end of Dec. **Q: Does this have bluetooth streaming capability?** A: Yes, WiiM Pro can be served as the bluetooth receiver and transmitter. If you have multiple WiiM Pros or Minis, you're able to play your bluetooth audio to a group of devices simultaneously. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One hell of a streamer! *by D***L on 17 July 2026* Wow!
