The only thing I have to sat negatively against the hook itself is sometimes it will begin to turn and collapse. If it begins to do so you can tighten it right back up and its good to go. Now for the rope. The material is sturdy and is of great quality. However it is too thin to climb with. Even tying knots for grip, it was not thick enough. Now, the rope is great and very useful if you are grabbing things or tying stuff off. But for climbing I suggest at least a 20mm rope. Overall a quality purchase especially for the price.
