**Q: What format of memory does it use?**
A: It has one XQD card slot which will be upgraded to CFExpress with an upcoming firmware update.  I've been using XQD cards on the D500, D850 and Z6.  It is much faster than the fastest SD cards and is a more robust card less likely to be damaged.  Most professional work does not require two cards - it requires two separate cameras.  Usually shooting in backup mode slows down the camera unacceptably, so it is not used for critical work that needs a fast frame rate.  Pricing of XQD cards is about the same as equivalent size UHS-II SD cards and often cheaper - even though XQD cards are 50% faster.
