It can do any combination of colors. Solid, stripes, anything and also can paint images/pictures in light that you save onto a memory card. Their website shows all that you can do with it and YouTube also. **Q: How is the set-up and ease of operation? I have a fotorgear magilight but cannot get the light to turn on!** A: It's very easy to setup and to use. There's a switch to turn it on. The menu is easy to navigate. Loading images into the pixelstick is as ready as inserting your SD card into the slot and finding it. **Q: Can you choose which sections you want to light up? For example, if i only wanted the ends to light up so i could spin and make a circle outline.** A: Yep. It takes a bmp file that let's you choose what parts and what colours you want to light up.
