Review: Classic checkers set that feels well made - I’m very happy with this checker board set. The wood gives it a nice classic look and it feels much better than the cheaper plastic versions I’ve used before. The board feels sturdy and the playing pieces have a good weight to them. I bought this mainly for casual games with family and friends, and it has been enjoyable to use so far. The size is comfortable for gameplay and the board lays flat on the table without sliding around too much. I also like that it looks nice enough to leave out on display when not in use. Everything arrived in good condition with no missing pieces. Overall, this is a solid checker set for anyone looking for a traditional wooden board game that feels durable and well made.
