A pure tribute to art from the heart. How can I review Bulgakov's work, No I am not worth it ;)!This is the most preferred translation, of course, we can't translate the whole language literally but they have tried to keep it as original as possible, also it's an uncensored version.My favourite character, like many others, is Behemoth (the cat).....OMG 🤣🤣, his cheap jokes with bad timings will keep you engaging.Bulgakov knew that he won't be able to publish this during his lifetime. But he continued writing it, in fact, due to frustration he burned the initial manuscripts as well. He again started writing this novel later after many years,Bulgakov was right, Novel was never published during his lifetime. He was scared that if found by gov. he will be executed and his works will be burned, that never happened though. As Wolland says to the Master, "Manuscripts don't burn".

This story gives me a conclusion about human behaviour.Humans are bound with greed and lust over things and money.

I'm so glad Amazon had this book. This translation is much better than the latest ones available

A must read.

The corners are bent due to careless packaging. Otherwise everything else is fine

An absolute classic of Russian literature, this extraordinary piece of art is written in a very easy yet immaculate way. You can read the whole book of around 450 pages in two days; the writing is just that easy to understand. The introduction to this book by Will Self is a great addition. The product quality of Vintage is always the best and delivery and packaging was absolutely fine for me.

Six stars ...mind boggling story telling ...Woland, Behemoth, Azazello, Korovyev ...characters to cheer for...a must must read...JK Rowling must have gotten her inspiration from this novel

An excellent book, wonderful design on cover pages. Good read and fascinating story.
