I have not found them to rip easily so far. They can get heavy to carry if completely full but that will also depend on how dense the items are that you put in it. What I really like is that I can throw these bags in the washing machine with my last load of laundry and it will be clean to put fresh clothes back into it! Way better than garbage bags. I ordered more.

I am very happy with how much these hold. They are very convenient if having to go do laundry outside of the house somewhere or for traveling. I have not found them to rip easily so far.
