Just attach the faucet cap to your Recon Hardside Cooler’s drain port, set the faucet on top, and let it flow. Rechargeable, it dispenses up to 150L on a single charge and the design rotates a full 360°, so filling’s easy and the hose won’t kink or tug the faucet off your cooler. Turns on with the tap of a finger to fill water bottles, rinse pots, or brush teeth, and turns off automatically so you don’t waste water.

Review: Expensive but this is the faucet to have for camping. - This Dometic Recon Water Faucet is a huge upgrade from the previous model. First off let me start by saying don't bother purchasing the knock offs that are for sale here on desertcart. I purchased one for $60 thinking I was getting a deal. It lasted less than a week so I did a return and replace and that one did not work at all. So I bit the bullet and spent the $130 dollars for the name brand Dometic Recon Water Faucet. It is really expensive for what it is but let me tell you it works and the quality so far is great. The knock off was plastic and very light. The Dometic is a nice heavy duty unit. The knock off did not have a back flow preventer in it so after you used it the water would drain back in to the tank so when you went to use it again the water had to be pumped back up. The Dometic unit has a back flow preventer so as soon as you hit the button you have water. The two speeds of flow is great on high this thing really pumps out some water. The magnetic base is strong and there is adjustment on the faucet so you can turn and position it correctly for where you have the water hose plugged in. We have it hooked up to our Dometic 11 Liter water container and it works flawlessly. Installation is a breeze and the battery life is great. The only con her is the price but I guess you pay for what you get. I have only had this a week and so far we love it. If that changes I will update this review.
Review: Perfect water dispenser for the dometic recon coolers! - We used this for our first camping trip with about 15-20 people using it for 3 days. We only used one light on the whole battery and it worked great for the whole trip! The only downside is I wish the magnet at the base was a little stronger as it did not stick to the top of the dometic recon cooler as sturdily as I would have preferred, the tubing gets a little weird and when adjusting the faucet will just turn easily.

This Dometic Recon Water Faucet is a huge upgrade from the previous model. First off let me start by saying don't bother purchasing the knock offs that are for sale here on Amazon.
