About a year or so ago, I started to worry that I might be going blind. I constantly needed eye drops, and I developed a chronic pain behind my right eye. My eye doctor said I might be diabetic, but my blood tests did not confirm that diagnosis. By chance, I ran across an article about blue light waves emitted from computer monitors, and how they may affect a person's vision and contribute to macular degeneration. A search on Amazon brought up this particular screen and I bought one, not expecting much but intrigued by the great reviews. The relief I felt, when looking at my monitor after installing this screen, was tangible and immediate. Since that time, I have not felt the need to use eye drops, and the pain behind my right eye vanished almost overnight. Some people may be more sensitive to blue light waves than others, but if you have any concern about eye health or eye strain, this screen is worth a try. I bought a second screen for my second monitor. Installation was simple and almost non-existent. The screen has a generous lip, and the user only needs to hang the screen by its lip over the top edge of the monitor. The screen does generate a glare at times, but this is a small price to pay for the immense relief given to my eyes.
