This 2.50 inch system features a 409S stainless steel mandrel bent tailpipe with a 3.00 inch polished stainless steel tip and fits both 2 and 4 door models with the 3.6L and 3.8L V6 engines. This system replaces the factory transverse muffler and relocates the Super HP-2 muffler behind the factory catalytic converter, providing a moderate to aggressive sound level. This relocation allows for better ground clearance when driving off-road. Because the tailpipe is tucked up so high, an aftermarket metal bumper is recommended. The exhaust system is manufactured in the USA and is covered by Flowmaster's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Designed for an easy fit, this system includes all necessary parts and hardware for installation. ## Features - Provides Maximum Clearance for Off-Road Driving - Super HP2 Laminar Flow Technology - Uses the Factory Hanger Locations - Stainless Steel Construction - Quick and Easy Installation - Lifetime Limited Warranty ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00FMN7V0W | | Automotive Fit Type | Vehicle Specific Fit | | Best Sellers Rank | #626,222 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #9 in Automotive Performance Cat-Back Exhaust Systems | | Brand Name | Flowmaster | | Color | Multicolor | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars (248) | | Finish Type | Aluminized Steel | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00700042030385 | | Included Components | Flowmaster 817674 American Thunder 409S Single Rear Exit Cat-Back System with Moderate Sound | | Item Type Name | Flowmaster 817674 American Thunder 409S Single Rear Exit Cat-Back System with Moderate Sound | | Item Weight | 23.5 pounds | | Manufacturer | Flowmaster | | Manufacturer Part Number | 817674 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Check with the manufacturer | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 817674 | | Number of Items | 1 | | OEM Equivalent Part Number | 817674 | | Part Interchange Info | 817674 | | UPC | 700042030385 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Automotive Fit Type:** Vehicle Specific Fit - **Brand:** Flowmaster - **Color:** Multicolor - **Finish Type:** Aluminized Steel - **Material:** Plastic ## Images ![817674 American Thunder Cat-back Exhaust System - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61FeX3S6EyL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.eg/products/8357931-817674-american-thunder-cat-back-exhaust-system](https://www.desertcart.com.eg/products/8357931-817674-american-thunder-cat-back-exhaust-system) --- *Product available on Desertcart Egypt* *Store origin: EG* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
