Which is the truth?** A: When I ordered it it came in a purple box just like in the movies. The purple box was not in the movies but it came the curtains just like olivanders. This specific wand was not sold by Olivander himself. I honestly don't know why it comes in a box. The packaging is excellent and the wand is fantastic. It came in an Olivanders Box and the wand is extremely detailed(same as it is shown in movie) and has a woody texture which while holding in hand feels really good.
