Worth Full Price if you are new.
Ordered, was a bit skeptical as the deluxe is really pricey, and wondered if I should have sticked to the base. As I did do the original Insanity. I am on the go and very busy so I thought that since it came with the portion things it would be well, as well as I didn't have a mat, or a fat measuring thing (forgot the actual name), also the 2 extra dvds as well, and if you don't have a shaker cup this is good if you're new (in terms of the things it brings), also the modifier version if you are also new, but the normal workouts are hard, I seem to do well but the lunges/squats get every time, on week 2 so far, as I do the normal workouts and my brother does the modifier as he is not quite as in shape as I. I for one am enjoying it, but I think I would have been fine with the base kit, as it can be a bit overwhelming to a new person with all the recipes and information that comes in the nutrition guides (it was for me and I know how to eat well), I for one use them more as a meal to eat on the weekend since I do have more time then. But the mat kinda comes in handy, the portion controls helps on a day to day bases. For me I think I could have done without a few things, and if the price would have been a bit lower, maybe 20 to 30 less, but still it's good, especially if you are new with the stuff that it comes with. If you very experienced then just go with the base kit, I am a bit experienced, but don't have like a bunch of things for working out as I like to keep it simple and am busy. His workouts don't is appoint (they ever do), and if you are new and can't afford this then just go with the base, it's not much you're missing out, you only get 2 more dvds here, the portions(which was one of the reasons i did buy this as it does make it easier to control/limit yourself), the shaker cup, the fay clipper thing (which I only used at the beginning ( should start using it everyday), and the mat (which is good). That's it, it's not much but it helps and makes it a bit easier.

Pushes you to your limits
I'm a woman in my late 20s and just completed the program with the ab maximizer calendars. Before this video series, I did 2 rounds of Focus T25 and various other Beachbody programs over the past 2 years, so I considered myself to be decently fit. Well, I was wrong! Max 30 kicked my butt, and I gained quite a bit more definition in my whole body. I especially liked the noticeable tone increases in shoulders, abs, and leg areas. There were times I genuinely got angry and cursed at the TV since my heart was pounding and felt like I was running out of my air yet I wanted to keep going - my heart rate at rest is about 50-60 bpm and reached max 184-193 bpm when I really pushed myself. Needless to say, this isn't a good video series for beginners (yes, there are modifiers you can follow, but if you want to get the most out of it, I suggest doing T25 first). For entertainment value, I think Shaun T is the best trainer I've followed so far (I've also done videos featuring Chalene Johnson and Tony Horton). He's a friendly guy and encourages you to continue, even just a few seconds longer, despite the body aches. There are so many different moves, and the intensity is high, so time flew by fast. The music was upbeat and went well with all the moves.Overall, this video series is great for advanced users with limited time in the day or don't want to work for hours on end to get a toned body and improved health. I plan on doing 2 more rounds before moving on to a new video series.

Man, do I love this new and improved Insanity instead of the 2011 original Insanity produced by Shaun T. This one has new 150 sequences, and it is MUCH harder than the original Insanity. You will sweat, you will cry, you will rage, you will yell. I was pretty intimidated by it at first, but I max out 25 mins most of the time, I cannot complete the full DVD. Hopefully I will though, I have completed the first original Insanity, and kinda wanted something a bit more, Shaun will motivate you through the entire course, DONT GIVE UP when you do this course! YOU have to push. I have received everything by mail order, I have my mini mat, and the mat you will get is super comfortable, you will love it. It has 15mm of cushion! I have my DVD's, my nutrition guide, USE THE NUTRITION GUIDE AND THE COLORED CONTAINERS. I cannot stress this enough if you want to lose weight. Thank you Beachbody, and Shaun T for making me a brand new person and becoming fit. However, this is NOT a beginners course, I would recommend CIZE or Shaun T's Focus T-25 - Gamma.

From intimidation, to motivation!
A friend recommended this program to me, and I was intimidated, to say the least. I have never done any of Shaun T's workouts, and didn't know what to expect. I have had several back and ankle surgeries in the past, and am overweight. I wasn't sure I would be able to do this. I was extremely pleased with the modifications, although I am modifying the modifications. It is hard, but it is do able if you really want it. I am three weeks in, and have noticed significant changes in my body. I would recommend this program to anyone that is serious about making changes in their life. The nutrition program is also very easy to follow. Shaun T is a great motivator.

Great program! Not for the faint of heart though
Great program! Not for the faint of heart though! Really challenging workouts but you get results. I am on week 6 now and have noticed big changes in my physique but also in my endurance and fitness level.
