9GreenBox - Sweet Olive Tree Osmanthus - 2 Pack of 4" Pot

My initial shipment arrived in really bad shape. To the sellers defense, we were in a massive heat wave and the plants arrived moist... But rotted and dead from the heat and moisture. I contacted the seller and they were quick to respond and send replacement plants. These arrived a little sad from the heat and travel, but had some green leaves which gave me hope. I have since repotted and am hoping they thrive. I am very pleased with the seller and how quickly they responded when I had issues.

Based on the one positive review - that will teach me - I ordered a banana shrub and this product - two sweet olive tea trees. I received three plants in a box, wrapped in plastic wrap. The packing slip said the box contained a banana shrub and the requested two sweet olive tea trees. However, the tag on the plants and a visual inspection showed that they were slow growing bay trees. And they were tiny with two or three leaves. It will take me years to get them to shrub size.I called the number provided inside the box twice and got a recording both times asking me to leave a number and PROMISING EARNESTLY to call. I left my number and reason for call - twice - and nothing. It's been almost a month now.Buy from a reputable company that sends what you ordered instead of what they have in stock. This has been a totally frustrating experience.

Originally I wrote: "To my amazement, relief, and joy, both plants survived their shipping journey in good shape. Now, 4 months later, both plants are thriving." Now, six months later, both plants are dead. They produced one or two new leaves, but were clearly not well rooted plants, just cuttings barely growing. I first had them indoors. Then--because they are outdoor plants--moved them out. First to shade, then mottled shade, then as they gradually declined back to mottled shade. It has not been really hot here, and I kept the soil moist, not wet. They just weakened and died I am very disappointed, mainly because I really want one of these plants. Next year I will try growing my own cutting. Sorry, GreenBox!

They did come in reasonably packed package.All leaves were dried and fall off on arrival.Let's see if they will come back.

Very pleased with the tiny olive trees! I read many reviews, and knew to expect small, and healthy. And that's exactly what arrived! Very pleased, expect them to grow and do well!!!

The plants were not even close to the size pictured. One plant had 3 leaves, and the other had 4 leaves, both about between 2-3 inches tall. However, they were well rooted and are growing veey quickly. So I'm taking a star away for the size deception, but give them 4 stars because they were disease free, are thriving and healthy, with good root systems.one of the plants has bloomed with a few very tiny flowers, and both have 4-6 new leaves already (I'm writing this review a couple months after purchase). I live in Massachusetts, so they're outside in terra cotta pots at the moment, but will be brought inside for the winter.

The osmanthus came on time, but it was smashed up, dead, and the leaves had fallen off. The stems were snapped as well, and they were only packed with packing peanuts. Also it was noted as a pack of 2, but only 1 came. What gives?

I bought this about one month ago. The package is very solid and the plants are very well protected inside the package. Following the instruction I put both pots in water for about half an hour then move to 2 large pots. The plants begin to grow almost immediately. Now the plants have grown about 3" taller. Everything looks good.
