We did not create this listing and have no capability of removing the picture of the can. This picture is a representation of how the can opener is supposed to work. The 20 come in a bubble wrap bag. The P-38 is smaller than the P-51 and was designed for the individual soldier to open C-Rations. The P-51 were larger and a back up for the mess tents. As a C-rat era vet, I preferred to carry the P-51 (and I still do today) because they could be used for a multitude of other purposes. We sell only US made Shelby Can Openers (over 200,000 in 2016) . It is a US made Shelby can opener. **Q: Will these open any food can? Am thinking of including them in care packages for homeless.people** A: I have used P38's to open tin cans from the small cans like tuna fish size up to gallon size tin cans. The larger the can the more time and effort it takes. The main thing is to get into a constant rhythm. I still use my P38's I have carried from the1960's. It surely beat using my bayonet to open cans in the jungles and later in the middle east. The P38's left one of my emergency tools nice and sharp for other uses.
