But as far as "actual" instructions no, kinda had to figure that out - which is how I found out that this product wouldn't work for my type of clock. I had to return it and actually get my clock repaired at a clock shop. **Q: Can i use my own clock hands? (just use the mechanism to replace an old one?)** A: You should be able to, because the hands are friction mounted If you can push it onto the shaft, and it will stay, then it should work **Q: Thank you all for answering my question. I have the hands in place, nicely parallel, the battery snapped in and nothing. No go. What now?** A: Not sure would have to see the hole you place the clock piece into.
