Ergon SR3 Saddles

Only put a few miles on this so far due to weather. So far it's obviously a well made saddle designed by ergon and made by selle Italia. The resin shell is quite flexible so there is nice shock absorbance there. So far without doing the 1000 mile test, the padding seems just right, not too much or too little. I don't race, therefore no need to waste money on carbon. Following the size chart, I got the large. Also the rails are longer on the large for tall peopleThe major reason I got this saddle is because my sit bones are on the wide side, and I prefer a very flat saddle. My previous saddle was too rounded so the slight rise in the middle due to sloping sides would put pressure on and transfer vibration to my soft tissues rather than the sit bones. After 40+ miles I would be feeling that and the day after a long ride 70+ miles it would be painful to get back in the saddle. It was constantly disappointing that the most pain I was feeling on a ride was not my legs but between them. Sometimes I wanted to end the ride it was so bad. The flatness and generally large sitting area of this saddle caught my attention. So far so good. Nice and flat so the pressure goes right onto my sit bones and I am comfortable sitting further back or more forward depending on my riding position. Good amount of padding.I will update after a few hundred miles.Update:This has been a good saddle that is like new even after a couple seasons. The only thing i would change is the area where my hamstring comes in contact with the saddle. Puts too much pressure there. If the saddle sloped off downward toward the ground it would be better.

I love this seat feel a lot better then other bike saddles that I bought I really need to thank Phil on skills with Phil on YouTube I saw the saddle he was using and I had to try it out for myself and it feel good I believe that if you are looking for a good saddle you should try this one out
