Good value, just what I needed
I was installing a trailer hitch in a 6 year old Acura MDX and 2 of the frame-embedded threads for the 14mm bolts were rusted enough that I couldn’t get the bolts in. This set came to my rescue, just ran the 14x1.5 tap through to clean out the threads and I could get the bolt all the way in with just my fingers. The set looks like it is high quality - I was attracted by the tungsten steel in the description. I can’t assess long term durability or appropriateness for using this set in a professional setting but I think it’s all a home diy’er would ever need. Very happy with my purchase and the price can’t be beat. The case, which arrived in perfect condition, has the brand name “Vevor” on it. I included a photo of the Crescent ratchet I used to turn the tap in a confined space - it really worked out well as the included tap wrench was too long. FYI, the set is 100% metric and there are 2 of each tap size.

Nice metric set
Used it a few times, and saves you when you are against something when it unexpectedly happens. Great kit with my pieces.

Now days, its application and cost, not origin.
My collection of many types of tools acquired over the years were always Craftsman. Guaranteed for life and made in America. That all ended when I noticed that Craftsman (among others) now comes from China. From China!!! Stuff of all kinds comes out of one door, so to speak, from China. Now, name recognition and reputation are no longer a consideration in decision making of any product. Now, for me, it comes down to cost and application. You are on your own to determine what will work for you.

looks good, but poor performance UPDATE: Working to a successful resolution, I will advise. Good company support (Phew!)
I was generous in giving this one star. The package looks pretty and if I was taping or threading plastic or wood it would be fine but when I tried to tap a 3/8" hole in 1/4 inch thick mid steel it could not do it. In trying to tap the hole even with tap magic the tap was winding up as if it was ready to break.I had to turn to a 40 year old cheap tap I had saved to cut the threads.Save your money and do not buy this poor quality product from a supplier who will not respond, spend your bucks on better quality.The Company, OrangeA, has contacted me several times since my review was posted . . . so they do closely monitor the customer feedback.This is a good sign.I am revising my rating as we work toward a successful resolution.Good News. I have received a partial, but fair, refund and so I have updated my review. The company is responsive.Keep an eye here as I will advise other customers. . . . . Successful resolution, see above.

A very good set with all the metric taps and dies.Would like a SAE set too.

NOTHING FANCY BUT YOU STILL CAN FINISH THE JOB
CHEAP PRICE, but ok quality, not the best but like I said, this set can help you a lot in some situations that only God can explain

This product is not what they claim it is
So far every tap i have used has gotten ate up or broke the only thing this set will tap and that is questionable is soft pine wood!!! When i went to use it on very mild steel it just ate it smooth to the point it cant be used.... so much for being bearing steel!! If i could still return it i would in a heartbeat but i waited too long to use it still i feel the company should do something about it i plan on putting this review on blast so everyone will see it and NOT purchase it I WILL DO EVERYTHING I CAN SO THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS WHAT KIND OF JUNK IT IS.... It's like they took nails threaded them put some flutes on it and packaged it you would think taps should snap if your careless with them but these do not snap first they will bend and twist on you then break.......PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!! I promise you will regret it like i do.. I just wish the company will make this right for me.. Thank you for reading the TRUTH.

You can't go wrong for the price.
I needed some larger taps at work and I saw this set. I figured I would give it as try since it was the quickest way to get what I needed. The quality of the set seems lesser than that of more well known brands, but it did the job. There are a LOT of doubles in the set, so take that into account when looking at how many pieces are included. I haven't broken one yet, but I think the extras are there because they're not meant to survive daily use.
