This is 1.25 inches thick not 5 inches thick as the description states, which is good.
I was hesitant to purchase at first because the measurements list this as being 5 inches thick when it should only be 1.25 inches thick. It promised to work for my air purifier so I purchased it. It is the correct thickness. It is listed incorrectly on the manufacturers website as well. I am posting to let people know. Easy to clean should not be on here for a rating because you throw them out when you are done. Well, you can extend the life by vacuuming the input side of the HEPA filter every couple week, I found some pre-filter material to put in-front, which traps a lot of dust that would otherwise clog up the HEPA filter.

HEPA Air Filter Replacement
This air filter fits perfectly in my air filter, and right away we could tell that the air quality was much better! This company makes the identical filters that my name brand air cleaner takes at about half the price. I highly recommend this company and their filters!

I haven't been able to find this filter and thought I would have to throw away my IntelliPro air cleaning system, so very glad to have found this. I wish the description of the product said for sure whether the black part faces out or the white part of the filter itself faces out. I have always faced the black part out.

Measure first. Don’t order just by the name of the item . My mistake.
Much more quiet with new filter. On auto now less Speeding of fan and so not so loud.

mislabeled
Well... it looks like it's good quality but I have to point out, it is incorrectly labeled "inward". In the picture I included I have the filter from the original manufacturer on the right, with the carbon filter side labeled "inward" and on the left, this amazon filter has the HEPA side labeled "inward".This matters because the black side is vacuum-able, and doing so prolongs the life of the filter. So, beware!! But this filter seems fine quality.
