Overall pleased, not perfect but still a good buy
Overall, I think this is an excellent value (around $27 when I purchased) and you get a lot of knife for your money. If your intended use is self defense I think it will do its job.Knives are tools. Each style has it's own unique intended purpose. This is not an 'everyday' general purpose knife. It is not the best for general cutting tasks or slashing or bush craft, etc... It is great at piercing and penetration. Both sides of the blade are sharp so it can be used in either direction and one side has a small serrated section. Not 100% sure why for this type of blade. I guess if you only had this knife available and needed to cut some rope/cord it would work but, again, there would be much better knife choices for those types of tasks. The serrations are probably there more for the "look" than function. In my opinion, this knife is best for self defense purposes. The blade arrived sharp. It would cut right out of the box. No additional sharpening was needed, however, I did take it across my leather strop, as I do all of my knives (just a habit). It then became VERY sharp! Blade is marked as D2 steel. I have no way of verifying that but it seems robust and well made. The handle is also well made and it is just large enough for my hands (I am 6'2"). I would not want it to be any smaller but it works. If you have very large hands then it may be close. For self defense use I wish it had a finger ring like the karambit style of knives for better control and retention. I also wish it had a slightly larger guard or deeper choil in between the blade and handle to give an extra buffer to keep your fingers off the blade but the features are sufficient and the knife works.I've only had it a few days so I cannot speak to the long term durability but it will be used so I will try to report back if I experience any problems (and if I can remember). The included sheath is 'okay' but nothing spectacular. It holds the knife well, good retention, not as strong as others I've seen, but I am concerned about long term durability or hard-use scenarios. The belt clip is a knock-off version of the Blade-Tech Tek Lok. Again, it works but is not nearly as robust as the original Tek Lok. If you are planning on EDC then I would spend the additional $10 and get a genuine Tek Lok.Overall, I like the knife and I think it is a good value (what you get is well worth what you pay).

There are knives that cost five times as much, that are half as good.
Well designed blade (minus serrations which I'd rather not have), very strong, and will handle a lot of abuse. Good sheath with good retention. Well balanced, and the weight is just right in my opinion. The handle could be improved, as the panels are rather simplistic. Although the grip is good enough, it could have been made better by making the grip panels cover 100% of the tang, and perhaps taper the width of the panels such that it is thicker in the center. But once, again, I've seen worse grips on the knives that cost five times as much. For $28, it's an excellent knife!

Good knife
Came very sharp out of the box, scales are comfortable. Seems solid.

Pretty good generic Chinese compact fixed blade dagger but false advertising on the blade length.
The quality of this knife is typical for a “black box” generic Chinese knife – solid overall fit, finish and build quality. The thick dagger blade grind/geometry is terrible for cutting but that’s not what this knife is for. The edge that it came with is actually decent, considering.I am guessing that the knife is a clone of some US design that costs $300 and it’s not a bad one. However, as soon as I gripped the handle and unsheathed it the blade, I instantly thought: “Wow! This thing is quite a bit smaller than I expected” and “No way is this blade is actually 3.9 inches long!” Anyway, I took out a measure and sure enough, the edge is about 3.5” and from the tip to the G10, it’s 3.7” max. But really, at that point you’ve already hit the bolster. Useful length is about 3.5” and is smaller than I like and what I ordered based on the description. This is disappointing. I still like the knife enough to keep it though.

Great Sheath, Better Knife
Fantastic knife and a great kydex sheath. Can't recommend this product enough. Looking at the price I was skeptical but this is a great knife at a great price. The kydex sheath is great and comes with a mount that can be adjusted or the mount can be removed via some screws if you simply want the kydex sheath to attach via paracord, etc.

Not perfect but damn near...
So will you throw this? With the hand guard,It is still a bit more back heavy. But the way it conforms to your hands, at least mine, is so smooth. The handle feels like a smooth ceramic finish. Carry two just in case I have to fight for 1. Hope they are just to look cool lol but I can't afford to be naive like people can't force me to fight for my life. I like these.
