After trying several brands, Jack Stack easily became my favorite KC-style BBQ sauce. The flavor is excellent and not as overly sweet as other brands. It balances well with a variety of meats, not just BBQ. It's one of my favorite dipping sauces for chicken tenders, nuggets, or wings.

This is one of the best BBQ sauces you will find. Not too sugar with just enough kick. Pours smooth without being too thin. Brushes on meat easily. If your in KC try their burnt ends!

Tasty

Living in Florida, the really like their sauces loaded with sugar and very little spice. Not me. BBQ is supposed to be spicy, smoky and bursting with flavor. KC style bbq sauce got it right. Some of their sweet sauces are amazing, but the traditional sauces are life changing. Don't be fooled by KC Masterpeice - the sauce is not worth the name it implies. Jack Stack, Gates, Arthur Bryant's, Joe's and Q39 are all amazing. Note - Q39 is not available in stores, but the rest are - and usually at a premium.

This is a good all around sauce that goes great on anything. Doesn’t have the added smoke flavoring that some others do. I give it 4 stars instead of five because it is kind of a split the difference sauce. Others like a Gates or Bryants give you bold KC style flavor for smoked or grilled meats. Another style will give you that sweetness that is popular in grocery store sauces. This one is a bit of both. In that sense it’s a crowd pleaser but also won’t fully satisfy either hardcore bbq aficionados or chicken nugget dippers.

Ate at a Jack Stack BBQ in Kansas City and loved it! It’s now our go to BBQ sauce at home, was so excited we could order for home. Highly recommend!

I moved to the PNW in 2019 and haven’t had decent barbecue since.. It is wonderful to bite into some burnt ends and taste KC barbecue again!!
