This is a great little set for a great price. My almost 9 year old is going to be a cook in a school play, so I ordered this for his costume. The hat and apron fit well and are good quality. The hat isn’t adjustable, but would fit a wide age range. He has a big head and it’s snug but fine. The neck of the apron is also adjustable, which is better than most of my own aprons.

My 4 year old is ALWAYS in the kitchen wanting to help out with cooking and baking. I got her this apron & hat set to go with some child-safe kitchen knives as a christmas present. The material is pretty thick for the price point! I feel like it's a great value. It is definitely functional for cooking and not just costume-like. Very excited to give this to her!

I bought the red one for my grandson about 2 yrs ago. It was one of the most popular gifts. He loves to help me cook & stir. He can still wear the apron but his hat just fit when he got it. I've tried to order a bigger hat but I don't believe they offer a bigger size. I believe my grandson is average size but just a tad larger head. He loves to look at himself in mirror but hat too tight to leave on long. It is a fun and cool gift. I will measure him again & see if I can find a bigger hat in the cherry red color.!!

For my 3 year old grandson, I’d bought a different apron & chef’s hat from Amazon, and it was adorable. He loved it, but I will need to send it back because the label states that the fabric can catch fire, and that the apron’s fabric can stick to the child’s skin!What on earth? Can those manufacturers not foresee that a curious child wearing one of these aprons, might very well be standing at, or near the stove while a parent is cooking? There are even little step stools sold that enable children to get up close and personal with whatever their parents are concocting in the kitchen. What if it’s a “stir-fry” dish ???The ad about THIS other apron though, claims it’s fabric is cotton; however, there is no tag at all on this apron, NOR on the cute little chef’s hat included.It looks like cotton, but no one has labeled it as such on the garment. And so maybe it’s a cotton blend…?The incident which made me really want to return it though, is that this seller’s idea of “saving” our planet is to eliminate careful mailing materials altogether. This little blue apron and chef’s hat arrived on my doorstep on the 2nd day of a mighty rainstorm in CA. The only thing between the pouring rain and this merchandise, was a ziplock style plastic bag with a mailing label, a bar code and & some small yellow stickers slapped onto the front of the semi-transparent bag.I first thought, “Well as long as the zip locking mechanism works, it should be fine.”Then I noticed some water droplets on the bag, and was hoping there were none IN the bag, when I saw an actual HOLE, the kind that hole punchers make on the left side of students’ papers to put in their 3 ring binders.This hole was near the corner at the bottom on the front of the plastic bag! Yes, one small corner of the apron was quite wet.I started to think “No problem! We have a clothes dryer, and it’s not like it has the be dry immediately…”But then I wondered , “What was the seller thinking when he or she told someone to pop that cute little chef apron set into a plain plastic bag (with a hole in it!) slap an address label, and some bar code stickers onto the front of the “package” and just send it off to arrive on such a rainy day that even out-of-state news reporters knew was coming???

Got for my 2 yr old granddaughter. Apron and hat are adorable and adjustable!

We added letters to this and it was so cute! My son thinks he is a real chef and the quality is great so far we have washed several times and it hasn’t changed. The hat is great as well since it’s not to big.

This apron was an instant hit with the two year old! She donned the hat and ran around saying "hat, hat, hat" while patting it on her head. Very cute design with the fall colors embedded in the variety of cartoon cats. Fabric and apron design is really nice. I washed the apron and hat in cold water and dried it before she wore it and the apron/hat held up well in the washing machine and drier without fading. I recommend this apron and hat. I would purchase this again and may be try out the other colors/designs. Very positive experience!!
