Works great
Ugh, lice are the worst, anyone got any shampoo recommendations? My kid brought some home from school and we need something strong. We've tried a couple of things, but nothing seems to work completely. Hoping to find something that actually kills them all in one go. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Best lice treatment ever
I can't say enough about this lice treatment. This is literally the only thing that works for my daughter's hair. Not only is it so easy to apply in her long, thick hair, because of the foam, but it's easy to comb out. I used so many treatments before this one, and this is the only one I will be buying again. I could not find it near me anymore so I am glad Amazon has it!

Buy it for emergencies
I will never go without an in date set of this. My daughter with hip length hair got lice at some point and I found it on Sunday. The closest store that had lice remover was a half hour away on a Sunday before school! I went ahead and ordered this and used it as her second treatment and had her to use the daily wash for a week to make sure all where gone. This stuff worked amazing and I like that we can use it daily for a bit in case she may have been in contact.

Love
This is the only lice product I will use! My daughter having long, thick, curly hair had gotten lice twice in the last two years. Last time took months to get rid of, even when using the Vamousse shampoo as well. This time, used Vamousse right away, picked at nits with finger nails, and the lice comb for literally 3 hours, she has been clear for weeks now!! 100% Best lice product, and it honestly smells great not like chemicals like other options.

Good product
This works decently. I am going to have to do another bottle of it though. But all in all it’s a good product

I tried it five times and it didn't kill the lice or their eggs.
I had high hopes for this product since I had tried several others that made promises that just weren't true. I didn't have itching right away so I thought maybe it worked, but then I got bit again. They get under the scalp. I even sprayed tea tree oil and peppermint on my hair and body in between uses. I washed all bedding every time, vacuumed my furniture, car, mattress, rug. I washed all clothing. Put things in plastic bags and in the freezer. I made sure to saturate my hair with mousse and then shampoo. I did everything I could possibly do. This for a period of over two weeks. I did the same with other products, Fairy Tales, Head Hunters, Lice Logic, Cure and Nix. I still have them after using these products for six weeks. Whoever can come up with a product that really works could make a lot of money. These companies are doing that with products that don't work on what people are calling Super Lice. I have used the repellents also, They don't kill the lice and I doubt they stop anything from crawling on you if you are in the wrong place and contract them. Good luck!PS I had a family member using the lice comb on me five times and I used it in between. If the lice were dead, the comb wouldn't matter anyway! Other than removing the dead ones.

Keep This on Hand BE PREPARED
This should be in everyone's medicine cabinet. In the back, where no one can see it, but saved for those horrible times when your child comes home from school with a note from the nurse and they've picked up lice. One of my kids came home from summer camp last summer with this issue. Because I had some Vamousse in my cabinet, I didn't have to run around town to all the overnight stores and pharmacies at 4AM after meeting her flight. It's one of the easiest treatments. Just mouse it into dry hair, wait 15 min, then use the special comb to comb out the bugs and eggs - tap the comb into a cup of warm water (with water diluted with bleach in it) and you can see bugs and eggs as you remove them. When you've combed for 10 min and haven't seen a single bug, then it's time to hit the shower, shampoo, use a hair dryer, and spray the house. We've had several outbreaks over the years. For effective treatment, I use this product, and (Nix) Permerthrin. You have to use them 7 days apart to make sure to get all the buggies and eggies. I buy Permerthrin in bulk on Amazon and mix it very carefully. Our pediatrician ok'd us to use the product. Sklice is the prescription version, but it's $200 per head per application, which IMO is insane. We use Vamousse on day 1 and Permethrin on day 7.I seriously urge you to buy a couple of boxes and keep them on hand, and be sure to switch back and forth because the buggies develop a resistance. Also, buy the stuff you squirt on their hair to prevent the bugs from jumping on for a ride (lice shield), then tightly braid their hair and use hair spray. That's one of the only ways to avoid the buggies from invading especially if you have a fifthly urchin in the school/etc that has less than attentive parents and they keep re-infecting the class.I should mention, when there's an outbreak at school, all the parents are going to drive to store and wipe out whatever they have in stock, so buying online before you need it (may you never ever need it), is a good idea.
