This kit was perfect and saved me a lot of money. I had a new motor built from parts. Bought a new block and head every bolt was perfect. Packaged very well and fast shipping

So far so good. Product came packaged well and shipping was quick. No directions though, so do yourself a favor and go to pirate4x4.com or another toyota forum, and follow their step by step instructions. Also, spend the extra money on some FIPG gasket maker from Toyota. Works wonders on top of the timing cover where it meets the cylinder head and on the two half moon blocks that seal the valve cover.I have over 2500 miles on my truck after the replacement and I have had zero problems. For the price, its a no-brainer especially if you have to replace your timing chain anyway. Money well spent in my book.

Everything fit to factory except the timing chain guides. The rubber coating and some of the steel actually prevented the holes from lining up to bolt on the guides. The chain was so tight that the tensioner couldn’t even move. I ended up using new plastic ones instead. The are easy enough to change if I ever upgrade to better quality. The rest of the kit was great.

Perfect fit.Installation went well.Cant stress enough to make sure you install the timing chain correctly.On top dead center of compression stroke timing mark on 0 Match the cam and crankshaft marks with the two darker colored links on the chain and install it with the slack of the chain to the passengerside and real tight on tbe drivers side 22re 👍

Got about 7k miles out of it in my 85 4runner with a 22re. Test fit the metal timing chain cover with the bolts before you put the head on with sealant. I had to do some filing on it but otherwise it fitsEdit: still running no issues feb 2023

Installed the entire kit, fired up the engine. Seen that there was oil pouring from the engine. Turned it off, cleaned the area where the oil was coming from and found cracks on the timing cover like the casting was bad quality. DON'T BUY!!! What a headache putting everything together to find the new parts that I put on were defective. Going JB Weld the areas that are cracked and see if that works because I dont want take the truck apart again.

Everything seems to be good quality and fit nicely. I was pleased.
