For anyone who has grown up with curly hair, you know it can be a bit of a journey to find the right products to keep your mane tamed!I live in a subtropical zone where the summer heat and humidity can make a mess of my fine-textured, 3A curly hair -- the roots get slick while the rest gets frizzy! Not a cute look.I've scoured the internet for recommendations and spent way more at Sephora and Ulta than I'd like to admit, only to be disappointed when the $30-a-bottle "designer" mousse (I'm looking at you, Bumble & Bumble and Ouai!) leaves my hair sticky and crunchy.I'm on a student budget right now and am trying to find a regimen that works and doesn't break the bank... so I came to trusty ol' Amazon and searched "mousse curly volume" to scope out my options. This one popped up and at under $5/bottle, I figured it was worth a try.Absolute win, y'all!First off, this stuff smells juicy and amazing (you can get unscented if you prefer, but why would you even?), it is light and airy and a few palmfuls is enough to coat all my whole head of mid-back-length hair.I used it with my diffuser and dryer brush, and the results are gorgeous! Unlike with some of the other more expensive mousses I've tried, this one doesn't leave me with a sticky, crunchy feel. My hair still has natural movement and feels soft, but the frizz is smoothed out and the roots are voluminous.The ultimate bonus? It gave me a solid 3+ days of good hair and tons of compliments! Seriously, I've had 5+ people say my hair looks like a model and that never happens, haha!Budget or no budget, this product ticks all the boxes and works as well or better than any of the pricier products I've tried.

I have fine, straight, color-treated hair, and finding the right styling product can be a challenge. This mousse, however, has become a true favorite. It gives my hair the perfect amount of hold and volume without that weighed-down or sticky feeling that some products can leave behind. The lightweight formula makes my hair so much easier to manage and style. Plus, it smells great! Nice product. Not really contolling hair as far as giving it volume or body. Lightweight which makes it a big plus.

These are the same as the ones in thee store but they are less expensive and I don't have to go to the store for them!

This is my first time using this brand and I had my doubts it would be any good considering 3 containers for relatively low price but I did purchase it.I have fine, thin straight hair and most products just add weight to the strands of hair.Upon first pushing out a glob of foam onto my hand it was strange to see it suddenly melt into a liquid form. Have never had a foam do that before.I went ahead and applied the melted foam and it appeared to go onto hair not unlike foam would.I proceeded to hot blower brush my hair and it was like I had someone else's hair or a wig on. My hair was feeling and looking thicker than it ever has in my life. I am shocked. That was just last night, my only time using the product but today there is no heavy or sticky residue, nothing unpleasant at all.I am thrilled to find a product that actually works for me.

This mousse is terrible, but it's not the brand itself. The foam comes out of the can then immediately goes flat into a small puddle of suds in my hand. This is the second time I have purchased this mousse through Amazon, 3 cans each time, and they have all been flat. I will not purchase again. Another poster also stated the can she purchased also went flat in her hand. You are better off going to Target to purchase. I have used this brand of foam mousse for 20 years, always purchased at a local store, and never had this problem.
