This stuff is a GODSEND!!
This stuff is a Godsend! Our Beagle has been licking and biting her paws for months! She drives us crazy licking everything. She gets in our bed and keeps us awake licking. Her paws turned an ugly brown from the saliva. She looked terrible! She's was a beautiful Beagle until you looked down to see her paws! We tried everything under the sun to help her. Nothing worked. I was on a facebook Beagle group when someone recommended this. I bought it thinking it would end up in a box with all the other so-called remedies that didn't work. Well, let me just say this stuff is a Godsend!!! I've only used it on her paws for 2 days and she has stopped licking and biting her paws completely!!! We are absolutely amazed!!! She was resistant at first because she doesn't like having her paws touched and hates having her claws trimmed. Now, she just lays there and let's me put the mousse on! It's as if she knows it's helping her! She has completely calmed down. We're so thankful to the person in our Beagle group who recommended it. I just bought the jar of wipes too. They're a bit small but, that's ok. I'll use them to wipe her paws when she comes in the house after my husband takes her for her walks. I'm going to order the shampoo right now!!!! I think it will take a few weeks for her paws to be white again but, it will be worth the wait!!

the only thing that stopped my dog from chewing his paws
I tried a number of different sprays for my dog's paw chewing issue. Some worked but had to be used repeatedly every day. The MiconaHex +Triz Mousse was best by far- I used this twice daily for only two days and it stopped the issue completely, and my dog hasn't gnawed at his paws for over a week now. I found the mousse to be much better than a spray-- easier to apply directly to affected area, without any risk of spray getting into my dog's face, etc. Recommend (1) wearing gloves if possible, or applying to a paper towel and then massaging it in; otherwise you need to VERY thoroughly wash your hands after- I'm talking 3-4 times with a dish cleaning soap. This stuff is meant to hold on :). (2) applying this an hour or two before a walk outside where your dog's paws could get very dirty/muddy-- since it's quite oily/sticky for a while, it will attract dirt easily, and make the paws much harder to clean after being outdoors. Very glad to have found this, and will be using it for any future itching issues my dog has!

It's the Real Deal
My most recent rescue dog was completely bald due to flea allergy dermatitis. His skin had turned black and felt like leather after god know how long of being out in the sun. My vet recommended this to put some moisture back in his skin, and to help remove the dead skin that he was covered in. Just one bottle had helped so much. Since starting on this, most of his hair has grown back, and the majority of the black skin has peeled off to reveal normal, pinkish skin. After the 6th bottle from the vet, I opted to check Amazon to see if I could find it a little cheaper. My vet was charging me $34 per bottle, and we're going through a bottle in about a week and a half, so it was getting too pricey. I was worried that this might be a fake, but its the real deal. It's the same consistency, smell, and greasiness of the bottle I get from the vet - AND it gives the same results. It's much more convenient since my vet clinic closes early Thursday and Friday, and I can get this on Prime delivery so it even comes on weekends, AND I save about $8 each order. I wish I had gone through Amazon sooner.

medication for skin condition on dog
I have a dog that had a terrible skin condition. It was so bad that he spent the majority of his day scratching his body on the wall, causing terrible wounds which would then bleed. I started with this product skeptical but after a week I was seeing improvement. It has now been 3 weeks of daily use and he looks like a different dog. Although he still has bald spots and has some crusty skin he looks and acts very much better. Cant wait to see what happens in the next 3 weeks. Praying he is all cured.

Use with Caution!!!
I’m giving this a 5-star rating because I want people to see these comments. I have no idea if this product works or not because I effectively poisoned my cat with it. If your vet tells you to buy the shampoo, buy the shampoo. If you decide to buy the mousse because you think it will be easier to use than the shampoo, keep these precautions in mind: buy a cone too, put the cone on your cat, and do not remove the cone until the cat is completely 100% dry. The mousse is oily and takes a long time to dry and the cat will beg to be released from the tortuous cone. Do not succumb! Otherwise, the cat will try to lick himself dry, he will ingest the mousse and he will poison himself. He will develop alarming wheezing and gurgling noises and a broken meow, and he will be unable to eat. You will then have the opportunity to contemplate driving him to the emergency vet because of course this is happening on the weekend or on a holiday because that is the only time you have to undertake the task of bathing a cat. Instead of going to the vet, you will bathe the cat in warm water and Dawn. He will continue to make the alarming gurgling and wheezing noises for the next couple of days. His appetite will slowly come back. You will return the mousse to Amazon and buy the shampoo, which is what you should have done in the first place. (The shampoo gets rinsed out whereas the mousse doesn’t.)
