Wirquin 30722337 UPPY Universal 110mm plug with filter for basin, sink and bath

The Wirquin Uppy has solved a problem we had getting a plug to fit the non-standard plughole in our kitchen sink. It sits neatly in the recess where the plughole is situated and the depth of this recess accommodates the filter part of the plug. This means we have no problems with it being dislodged by the pots and pans that are being washed. A superb bit of kit, easy to use, keeps the water in the sink and didn't cost a fortune.

Best hair snare I've used. Okay so it doesn't have suction, but it isn't rocket science to just keep it in place yourself and not play football with it. It captures the hair really well and it's easier to get rid of the hair by pulling it away from the snare. To stop mould build up, just run it under the tap when you've freed the hair or if you find black mould still builds up. Stick it in the washing machine on 30 degrees. It comes out in tact and clean. Great little item.

Big for my sink hole but still works. Catches hair efficiently and allows the sink to fill.Does the job.

So, I have a common problem of my pop up plug no longer popping up but I really couldn't be arsed faffing about getting an entire section of my sink removed and replaced, also the cost of a plumber...just no!!!I could not find any plugs, just an ordinary plug on a chain, which would fit the hole! Why are plug holes not a universal size, it's ridiculous!I thought I'd try this as a last resort and , although more expensive than other, similar ones, this had good reviews generally on other websites.It works. I didn't have much faith but it actually works, on both my hand basin and my bath. Hallelujah! Finally!It's so easy to use, just make sure the whole thing is flat before putting water inThen, when you need to drain it, press the centre and it will pop up , allowing the water to drain out.The filter will catch any claggy bits and hair, which is easy then to clean.As this fits both bath and basin, it is value for money. It seals fine and nothing is seeping through. I've yet to try it in the kitchen, where we have the same problem. Imagine the cost of having to pay for 3 replacement pop up plugs? This will save you a lot of money.

This is genius no longer need to try fit plug holes. With different plugs.this does it all.and catches grimly bit before it goes down the plug hole

My old bath plug,did not fit corr3ctly, and I was constantly losing water as I bathed..This is ingenious …love it

Really effective

Used for sink for washing up. You can only use light items in the sink or it dislodges the stopper or pops it open. Big pain the clean all bits out of it. Suction not that strong.
