Arrived the next day needs to be placed in the fridge until you need to use it I bought the spray bag though the first time I used it with a watering can which seemed hard work ..... due to using this in April mu lawn operative told me to double the doesage as leather jackets will be mature and their outed casings harder so used one packet to l litre of water I was able to treat approximately 40 -50 metre square with this with the hose attachment....last year this stopped the leather jackets from munching the way through my neighbours lawn they attacked .so this year instead of paying £100 for my lawncare company to treat I've done this myself

I used this in the hot weather but the ground was hard so not that effective. I still getting bare patches on the lawn so will need further treatment now the ground is soft

Our original garden garden lawn (pic 1) was absolutely destroyed by leatherjackets this spring with hardly a leaf of grass to be seen (pic 2) not being great gardeners we didn't have a clue what the problem was until we read about crane fly larvae (leatherjackets) so bought some Nemasys Nematode Treatment from Gardening Naturally divided the lawn are into 9 sections and followed the advice of how much water to mix the nematodes in and how much of the mixture each area was to have - left the nematodes to do their work over a 3 week period and then spread grass seeds and netted the area (with some bird scarer tape to frighten off the magpies) after just one week we now have new shoots and regrowth - obviously the lawn is nowhere near fully recovered but I am confident that the nematodes have done a great job and will continue to do so as the new lawn takes root
