Durable, lightweight, easy to clean. Elegant design and looks great with the Corelle solid black mugs I purchased separately. Also bought solid white bowls. Everything together looks like a complete set. The black and white design allows me to change the look with a variety of colored fabric napkins.

These plates/dishes clean up nicely! Good feel, great quality, compact profile, non-porous, and heat/cold tolerant.I spent a LOT of time choosing which plates I wanted. Ultimately I picked the black/white-mix/match collection because they're playful but not silly. I knew I wanted Corelle from past experiences with their products.I was surprised to discover that the black lace pattern doesn't come with this set. It only comes with the black/white 4-person setting box. Luckily, I was able to pick up a few of that style elsewhere online to add to my set. I wish that this set also contained the salad/lunch-sized 8-1/2" plates, but those have to be purchased separately as well.Note: A few of the plates and dishes had areas of dried brown liquid on them (???) As if someone had spilled coffee into the box, yet the box itself was perfectly clean. The spots washed off readily, but, eww. For whatever it's worth, my box of plates shipped from Amazon, not directly via Corelle (as many of Corelle's products do) and otherwise arrived in perfect form.

These are possibly the greatest plates made , especially for daily use. They are light , durable and clean easily !I went for a few years after a divorce with ceramic plates. They were heavy and got hot in the microwave (hotter than the food) 😂 so I decided it was time to upgrade the kitchen . new silverware , plates , China all the way down to actual Japanese rice bowls. It was a challenge to get all this to match and look nice but I pulled it off my daughter and grand kids were impressed the old man could do all that with no help. In the end the favorite thing is this set of dishes and their versatility from daily to fancy

Other than some slight wavy-nes that can only be noticed when they are stacked away (as pictured—the gaps are a little startling), the plates are beautiful—I love that these are just mis-matched enough to look eccentric, but alike and simple enough to not look crazy. Plates are super lightweight, and have the durability expected of Corelle dinnerware.

I love the mix-and-match trio designs on the black and white set. They arrived faster that expected and in perfect condition. Goodbye heavy, chipped ceramic plates that I've had since my my first studio apartment. Hello stylish, light, and durable dinnerware! Nostalgic too... my grandmother had the old 1970's gold butterfly style Corelle plates, and these look, feel, and even sound just like my childhood, which is a personal bonus. They fit in the dishwasher better, they're so light that washing dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher is that much easier and somewhat more enjoyable, and I'm also less worried about having guests now that I know this set is made to last. Oh, but don't worry, I bought 3 sets just in case. Yes, 18 plates takes up LESS space and is LIGHTER than the 8 ceramic plates we used to have. No more constantly hand-washing, because we're almost out of plates again!

I purchased this set after my ceramic dishes of 10 years eventually all became chipped and cracked. I love that they’re simple but still visually interesting with the variety of patterns and crisp design. They are easy to clean, lightweight, and most importantly don’t get burning hot when put in the microwave. Hopefully these hold up better in the dishwasher than my ceramic dishes did. I’ve purchased this set twice and both times they arrived very well packaged and none were broken (the 2nd set I purchased as a backup, before they got outrageously expensive, was even sent all the way to Japan).
