When I was diagnosed with lichens sclerosus it was devastating. Large patches of sensitive skin were rough, dry and cracking. The RX steroidal cream didn't help to soothe the itchy flare up. I purchased this oil for my daughter’s piercing bump. So far, don’t see much results with that purpose, but we also have only used it for about 3 weeks. I also read that you can use it as a skin moisturizer and it won’t clog pores and cause break outs. I recently purchased and used some hyaluronic acid cream that boasted moisturizing benefits but it broke me out. Started using this emu oil and it’s perfect! A little goes a long way and my face is no longer dry and it hasn’t caused me any breakouts. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because I haven’t seen it work for my original intended purchase reason.

Nice fragrance easy to apply soaks in very well

I had got my forward helix pierced in September of 2024. A month later a bumped formed. I went to a dermatologist and she thought it was infection, so I used antibiotic ointment and that didn’t work. I went back to her in December and she injected it with Kenalog thinking it was a keloid, well that didn’t work. I went to a piercer and she kept telling me about emu oil. I was skeptical. I bought this product 5 weeks after getting it injected and the bump is now completely gone. The bump has been gone but I forgot to leave a review.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I purchased it because of articles I've read about how great this stuff is for your skin. (Speaking of emu oil itself, not this particular brand). So I found this one to be a reasonable price, and I ordered it. I am a user of many natural essential oils and natural oils for skin care. This was different from what I'm used to. I didn't love it. I didn't hate it. Maybe I've just not found the right use or diy recipes for this yet. I will say, it is greasy. And I also used a very small bit in my hair and FORGET ABOUT THAT!! it made my hair look so greasy! It ruined the style so much so, that I had to re-wash my hair. So maybe it just wasn't right for me? If I find a better use for it, I will update. But as for now, it was just too greasy to use on my face and my hair.
