It works
This definitely works. I refinished an old piece of furniture and being a novice didn't realize the top was 2 different pieces of wood until I stained it and they came out different tones. This evened out the mismatched tones.

Worked perfectly - colored my maple to a beautiful brown
Worked perfectly - colored my maple to a beautiful brown. I used it to color parts of a chess board and also the engraving of a wood plaque.

Oil stain is Busch league compared to this stuff. Follow instructions for a beautiful finish.
For years I relied on the "just buy an oil stain" method. Never again will I use a stain on a piece of furniture I actually care about. Don't waste your time with stains (both oil and water) if you want a beautiful, consistent finish. Mohawk toner finisher is especially helpful when there's multiple types of wood used on one project, since woods don't absorb stain evenly. The product is basically foolproof if you follow the instructions. I can't attest to how it works in warmer climates (e.g., high humidity), but I used it to refinish a Jens Risom lounge chair in 50-55 degree weather and the toner spread evenly and dried within minutes. Shake for at least a minute and shake in between coats. Use LIGHT coats, take your time and the finish will turn out beautifully.

great for toning
This product was perfect for my needs. I had stained my windosill a mix of Red Mahogony & Red Chesnut, and it was blotchy and still showed sun and water damage. I couldn't sand it anymore because the veneer was too damaged. I added a light coat of Brown Mahogony and an even lighter spray of Raw Umber. Then a light sand with 220. Followed up with two coats of poly. I just love it. The tones are lovely and the wood grain is rustic and beautiful!! So happy with this product.

Good product
I'm learning how to use this product. Too little. Too much. Wrong color. I'm gonna get there.

Nice color match, practice on scrap first
Color is spot on. Easy enough to use and it feels like it covering more than I would expect your time again to cover. I did have one can that broke off the nozzle and emptied itself and they gladly sent me another one quickly so good customer service as well. I use these on a set of speakers along with some gel stain as a base in hindsight I probably didn't need the gel stain at all. The spray pattern you get is a little bit finicky in terms of how close or how far away you are so definitely use on a plastic piece to get your spray pattern and distance down first

Nice way to even out the wood tone
This product does wonders when refinishing furniture. It makes it easy to improve the look of the wood tone, hiding areas of discoloration or sun fading.

Great match to java / espresso. Spray light coverage and layer to match. Then stain entire piece.
This product worked amazing to cover spots that would not take the stain. I had an area about 4” by 1” that would not stain that I sanded down too far & light areas on oak wood. You really can’t see the spots in the end & I got even coloring!
