we love Melissa & Doug products in our household and this is one we keep buying! it's SO nice for traveling. The built in marker holder makes it's so easy to store - and make sure that you never lose the marker! my toddler has gone through three so far - and she doesn't get sick of them (not yet at least!). it's provided her HOURS of entertainment both on road trips, flights, and at restaurants. for the price - it can't be beat. We've used other brands with similar products before and just feel like for the price - this is the product to go for.

There are more pages than you'd think. This kept my kid busy on the plane ride, at restaurants while we waited for food, and on the plane ride back and there are still pages left. Highly recommend - well worth it.

The Melissa & Doug Colorblast! sets have become a staple in our house - we make sure to pick one up before any long car ride or plane trip. The no-mess marker is a lifesaver if you have an overzealous colorer like we do!The "invisible" marker can be accessed through the front of the book - I would recommend that a parent get it out the first time, as our overly eager four year old has managed to rip the entire case out of the book in her excitement to get coloring! Once it's been opened once, it's easily accessed & closed by little ones.The pictures in the Princess book are a big hit with our daughter. She does tend to color VERY thoroughly and is determined to cover EVERY inch of the page, which can cause the wet pages to seep through to the next page. We've learned to put a page or piece of cardboard under her work in these books and any time she uses markers (invisible or otherwise) in order to contain the bleed-through as much as possible. If you little one colors with normal pressure, you shouldn't have as much trouble with this.We haven't had any trouble with the cap staying on, or the marker drying out in any of our sets, and we love that the book stays together even with the roughest opening and closing of pages. Some coloring books with the top seal tend to wear out and the pages fall out all over the place, but we haven't experienced that with any of the Colorblast! books.We'll definitely continue to buy these and highly recommend them!

I love this little color book for my 2 year old who is very into coloring. The excitement of coloring and seeing all kinds of vivid colors magically appear keeps her entertained for quite a while, which is why I keep one in the diaper bag and my purse. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the pages are thinner and sometimes the marker soaks to the next page and starts "coloring" it a bit. Otherwise, this is a great product to keep little ones busy and not have to worry about marker everywhere as the marker only makes color appear on the pages. Side note - way better than color wonder pages in my opinion as the colors are much brighter and more obvious! My daughter prefers these way better. Plus you only need to carry one marker instead of multiple, and the marker has an attached case!

Love these for traveling or any time I need my 2 and 3 year old to stay in the same place for a while. Keeps them entertained without any mess. I wish the markers lasted longer, but I discovered that if I stored them for a while, capped tip down, after I thought they had gone dry, we could get a few more uses out of them.

I am a huge fan of Melissa & Doug products! We bought this alongside the water wow. My daughter is 2.5 and definitely enjoys the debut she can rip the pages out and even rip out the entire chunk of paper pages. She has also left the marker out without a cap which ruined it. Luckily we have a few of these and obviously the markers are interchangeable. So this isn't a negative review because they definitely do what they're intended to but I think they are better for older kids with a longer attention span and who can understand not ruining things! Other than that, the colors are great and the markers work well. I think the Water Wow has a better value for reuse, but I will continue to buy these for road trips!

I purchased this for my 3.5 year old son to take on a nine hour plan ride. He LOVED this activity book and it kept him busy longer than anything else that I packed for him! Each page starts out blank (with just three things at the top that you have to find). After coloring each page with the attached marker you have to find three things listed at the top of the page. The three things to find are listed with words and pictures. The words add a little more information. For example, it may show a picture of an egg but the words will say 3 cracked eggs or one orange egg. My son could pretty much figure out what he needed to find but would ask me each page what he was looking for because of the words that he couldn't read. He colored a lot of the pages and the marker is still working, though I'm not sure that it will last until the very last page. I love that the included marker is equivalent to Crayola Color Wonder markers and doesn't make a mess or turn anything colors but the pages in this book. GREAT activity for keeping kids busy. I would definitely purchase more of these books!
