Q: How old approximately is it?

Could be 240 million years old. Google ammonite fossils to learn more.

Q: It says artifical...??? so is this not a real fossil. I would think it would be real for tbis price, but who knows now of days with so many fakes?

It seems to be real. It's from China, could be a case of bad translation.

Q: Has everyone read in the description that this is artificial?

Laura-- I bought these bac k in Dec. 21. I also purchased the giant 7 in. dia. Ammonite at a later time, and have all three in a display case. I have re-read the description for the smaller ones and did not see anything there about them being artificial. I believe they are genuine. they really are quite beautiful.
