I have only had this product for a few days, but I am already in love!I got some of the Super Lava after playing with some Super Scarab my friend had gotten. I bought it with the intention of using it for strength exercises for my hands, since I sew and sometimes end up with less than happy joints and muscles.First, the color of this is gorgeous. It is a bit lighter than I was expecting, with a lot more golden tones, but it reflects differently in different lights, from a rich copper to a deep burgundy in dimmer lighting. This putty may be more expensive than other less interesting putties, but the color combination is, in my opinion, worth the extra cost. It is very soothing to watch the colors change with the light as I play with it.I have never tried any other strength or therapy putties for any extended period of time, so unfortunately I can't provide any comparison in that area, but as someone who hasn't done any kind of targeted strength exercises for my hands in the past, this provides a nice challenge without being too strenuous. I don't have a wide range of exercises I do yet, but currently, I particularly like to take the whole amount of putty and knead it in one hand until my hand begins to feel sore, then switch to the other hand. I do a couple rounds of this twice a day. I also like to do the same with just my fingertips using a piece of putty about the size of a golf ball.Overall, this putty fulfills all the requirements I was looking for when I bought it. Its only downside would be that as far as I can tell, it only comes in two strengths, with the stronger being available in fewer colors, but I was intending to use this as only a beginner putty and for relaxation purposes when I bought it, so it was not different than what I was expecting to get. From what I have seen of the product online, it is intended to be used more as a science-type tool or just because it looks pretty, so while my intended use may not be that far of a stretch, it is still not the putty's primary purpose as far as I can tell.I would absolutely recommend this as at least a starting personal therapy-type tool for anyone it would normally be appropriate for. When I graduate to stronger putties and am more able to compare, I will post a proper comparison.

I've always been a fan of silly putty. It's just so much fun to play with! I love the way it feels in my hands, and I find it to be a great way to relax and de-stress.I've found that silly putty is especially helpful when I'm feeling anxious or stressed. Just a few minutes of squeezing and playing with the putty can help me to calm down and focus.Silly putty is also a great way to keep my hands busy. I find that I'm more likely to fidget when I'm bored or anxious, and silly putty is a great way to keep my hands occupied.If you're looking for a fun and relaxing way to de-stress, I highly recommend giving silly putty a try. It's a great way to keep your hands busy and your mind off of your troubles.

I'll start with the fact that I love this putty. The colors are amazing and the initial tactile experience is far superior to alternatives. The only thing keeping the putty from 5 stars, for me, is lack of longevity.I work from home and use the putty to keep my hands busy during meetings. I've got a bit of ADHD which I can manage by keeping my hands busy. Over time, with this frequent use, I've noticed that the putty gets tackier (i.e. it is more likely to stick to my hands and surfaces. It becomes overly pliable and soft, which makes the tactile experience less satisfying. Finally, the color has become drab. It is far closer to the color of poop now than of lava.So overall, this is a great product, but don't expect it to hold up over the long haul with frequent use. If the price point were higher, then I'd expect greater longevity. As it is, this isn't a deal breaker. Just be aware.

As a parent, I'm thrilled with Aaron's Thinking Putty. It provides hours of engaging, screen-free entertainment for my kids. I appreciate that it's non-toxic and doesn't leave any mess behind. It's a wonderful way for my children to develop their fine motor skills while having fun. Plus, the variety of colors and textures keeps them interested and coming back for more. It's a win-win for both kids and parents!

I am a homeschool mom of 5. We use Thinking Putty during reading time so the kids can listen while keeping their hands busy. It works wonderfully. They beg for reading time and never want me to stop reading! This container of Thinking Putty is huge. 2 or 3 kids can easily share one container. It also lasts a really long time. It never gets dried up or weird. It can make an awful mess if you get it on upholstered furniture or carpet, but since I use it only for reading time, I don't have that issue. The Lava color is red with gold in it. It looks amazing and the kids love it. It is very stretchy and easy to work with. It also bounces if you roll it up into a ball. The tins are very durable, as well. The 2 year old enjoys it just as much as the 7 year old. It makes for very relaxing story time.
