mostly good but the rubber bottom not the greatest
our old odd sized storm doors had gaps at the bottom that would allow snow and cold air to blow in during the winter months. they are made from solid metal, good strength no flimsy. i had to use a grinder to cut mine down to the correct size. after doing that i just drilled a few holes into the door and screwed it into place.after a couple of months i have found however that the lower rubber piece has started to warp and bend. it no longer has a straight edge to it. initially there were no gaps between this and the door frame bottom but now due to that warping there are two spots were you can see daylight through. end result i had to order another, different maker to put in its place.these are okay but NOT industrial for whatever that term means in this instance. the only weak point is the rubber at the bottom. if not for that i would recommend these but as is i cannot.

Did the job.
I didn't have any issues installing to my door. However, if purchasing, just know that you will need a hacksaw and possibly a drill (if no pilot holes.) Other than that, my item arrived on time and as of three months, I have not yet had any issues.

Commercial durability
Excellent door sweep. Solid rubber. PVD coated aluminum. Aluminum does not rust. Rubber is highly resistant to sun, weather, grit etc. This effectively stops drafts. Even if your floor is not level it will drastically reduce drafts. It looks good in residential application, not out of place at all facing inside the house. It is easy to cut with a hand-hacksaw.. Stanley has a decent 12" one on amazon for $5, which you will likely need to size it for your door.Other tools helpful to have during installation: tape measure, black sharpie to mark cut, drill for pilot holes, and screwdriver.Brush-sweeps are preferred by some when the floor is very unlevel as it will accommodate a bow in the floor better. My floors are quite uneven but this works excellently and will last many years, and has nice clean lines and does not trap grit. Although if you are not careful the rubber can scrape a pebble against a wood floor. The reason I got this is I know because of the materials, rubber and aluminum it will stay looking like new.

Blocked air entering around the door!!!!
Excited that no longer can air (potential critters) enter the home from the gap in the door frame.

My front door had been very bad though and when the wind swept through you could ...
I'm not sure what I expected...it helps keep out the air coming in from under the front door, but it certainly doesn't seal it in any way. My front door had been very bad though and when the wind swept through you could feel it standing 10 feet from the door. That's not true anymore. So if you have an issue like that, I think it helps, but eventually I think I'm going to need to replace the rubber seal under the door.

Thus far, working well but time will tell.
The rubber on the lower potion of this door sweep is nice and heavy duty, the trick is waiting to see if the rubber wears out with all the opening and closing of my garage door. I drilled pilot holes on my metal garage door which made installation much easier. Let me just clarify one thing. When I say garage door, it is the door from my home into the garage and not the garage door that goes up and down.
