Arrived fast, good quality, worth buy, fits well.

Mounted fine, could not remove from lens, finally used a small pair of long nose pliers and it came off stunningly easy by bending and cutting. Aluminum is soft and I would almost bet if I used it for more that 2 months it would fail. Internal linkage is pot metal and easily bent. I feel lucky I found this before I started using this in the field. I would suggest strongly against purchasing this piece of trash. I would suggest strongly against Amazon selling such garbage. Waste of money. One star because I cannot do a -5

Okay, so two things:#1, this adapter fit just fine on my EOS camera. But where the latch clicks into the mount to keep it from turning, that part was not wide enough for the pin on the camera side mount to click through. So it would NOT stay on the camera. When I realized this, I removed the adapter from both my lens and my camera and used a small drill bit to open up the hole just a little bit. Once I did that, it clicked into place on my camera side mount just fine. I added a picture and circled the hole i'm talking about.#2, this adapter fit on a nikon f-mount style lens also just fine, but it was honestly a bit tricky to get on. But it did fit after a bit of messing with it. It's got a lever to push down to remove from the lens if I desire to do so (and it works), but I have no other nikon f-mount lenses that I'd like to use at this time.So all in all I'd recommend it as an inexpensive adapter for Nikon F-mount to Canon EOS.. but just be aware that it may not be engineered or manufactured to the most perfect tolerances, and may need a bit of creative amateur machining to get it to fit properly on your EOS mount camera.

Chipped does not work on mirrorless RF mount.

I purchased this adapter to allow me to use a 100-400 zoom lens off of a Nikon on my Canon 6D. It worked pretty good, at first. I always placed a Canon back cap on it when placing it in my camera bag and kept it protected. But the tab on the side broke off, I've no idea HOW as it was carefully packed in my camera bag. Then I went to use it and got a lens communication error on my Camera. When I looked I saw that the contacts had come off. Huh? That's why I always carried it with a back cap in place! So I tried to remove it from the lens and it won't budge. So my initial contentment with it quickly became disgust. No, I do not recommend this adapter, not if you're going to carry your lenses around with you. Maybe if you're just using it in a studio, but even then my impression is that the overall build quality is quite low.I'm editing this review to include images that show what the adapter looks like after just a couple of uses. I was finally able to locate a video that shows how to remove the adapter. As you can see, the large tab that was held on with two tiny rivets has managed to go AWOL. As has part of the contacts that allow the lens and camera to communicate. How did that happen when all I've done is install the lens on the camera, remove to use another lens and immediately put the rear lens cap on to protect it? From the look of the remaining portion, they did a shoddy job of soldering/gluing the contacts into place.

Adapter worked perfectly! Nice snug fit and releases from camera like any other EF lense. Happy I can now use this lense.

Pretty clever little thing. It took me a while to figure it out but is working well for me now. I think if they included some instructions they would get fewer bad reviews.

This adapter does not work. Do not use it , it can ruin the attachment for your camera
