Purchased these speakers three times, even though I only wanted one order:once with Amazon which shipped them USPS--which in turn never delivered them to my home, or even notified me that they had a package in their care to deliver to me, and when I complained and inquired regarding this, they tried to force me to make my way to the local post office to pick them up, which I couldn't.Complained to Amazon, which in turn sent out a replacement, unfortunately using the USPS again.SO, I purchased them again with another retailer which in turn, sent them by commercial package delivery care of UPS--got them and installed them in some speaker columns that I was salvaging from my prior stereo set-up. In fact, speakers that my son, when a toddler, had re- engineered with his fingers. Nothing like the curiosity of a toddler; "hmm what is this stuff DAD?" "Oh NO, don't do that son!."Well, forward two decades to now-- hooked them up to a 100 watts per channel receiver and WOW, great bass response, and powerful! Make sure to also have a midrange and tweeter. In my case I also look to hook up Pyramid woofer/mid range Studio Pro 10 inch speakers and 3.25 inch Pyramid super tweeters which I am still waiting for delivery of. When installed I will update this review.If you doubt the quality of these speakers-- DON'T, they sound like Cerwin Vega's at a fraction of the price. The only drawback is that they are not dual voice coil, but I knew that beforehand, and it did not matter to me.

I had a subwoofer from that came as part of a package go out on me last year. As I was never impressed with the sub, I just purchased a real one to replace it and sat the broken one in the basement until I had time to look into it. Well, 2 weeks ago I set up a TV outside with new satellite speakers, and found these speakers were missing deep bass so I figured it was time to look into that sub. I discovered the surrounds where dry-rotted, but the rest of the hardware looked fine. Not wanting to spend a lot of money on a sub that's going to spend it's summer in a screened in porch, I took a gamble on this little guy. It took about an hour or 2 to break in, but I'm impressed! It gives plenty of thump in my 20' x 10' porch for movies and music being pushed by a 100watt amp. This is hard to beat when the other options I was looking at were more than 3 times the cost of this!

My product was had a buzzing sound even on low sound.

Got 3 Used From Amazon Warehouse,. 2 for 15$ each and 1 for 9$,. The 15$ one just had a beat up box but the speaker was flawless,. The 9$ one have a bent basket,. Probably from dropping,. So I beat it with a mallet to straighten out the coil alignment. Once I did that the speaker sounded clear again.. I still ordered 1 more cause I want a matching pair,. Idk why but they sent me 1 with a foam damper ring and 1 with a hard plastic ring..

great sounding speaker. the push down speaker terminals must be held up while inserting the end of the wire,otherwise it will bend inward towards the cone. Besides this little flaw, it is a very rugged little speaker and cantake the punishment of medium powered amp. Ive got a QSC gx3 powering two pairs of these with a genericmcm custom audio box ( that the original cheap 8" subs blew within a week) speakers. Im very happy with theproduct and the price is very good.

I used this to replace a blown woofer in a Kenwood subwoofer for a home stereo. The connectors are easy to use, if the wiring from your amp has that type of connector. Personally, mine didn't, and I had to cut off the old connectors to connect bullet terminals to the wiring. Once I had bullet terminals on the wires, it worked very well, and the connectors are tight. This woofer is also a bit large, and didn't fit in the cutout from the old woofer. You may have to enlarge the cutout to install this woofer. I did not, and just placed washers underneath it so that it didn't rock back and forth in the opening. After these modifications to my subwoofer box, I am pleased with the subwoofer.

I have two tower speakers that I am repairing. The woofer went out on one of them; supposedly,the woofer was 400W. When the original woofer was working it didn't have enough power. Needless to say, I purchased the, Pyramid PW848USX 8-Inch 350 Watt High Performance 8 Ohm Sub-woofer, and OMG! This thing sound way better than my original woofers! In fact, the woofer on the other speaker isn't broken but I'm going to change it too! This woofer sounds so dam good! Not to mention, the price is cheap and well worth every single penny!

I used these to replace the logitech z2300 8 inch 8 ohm subs and it works excellent. I was iffy at first about them but once I used them for a bit and turned on the equalizer from the ipod these things kick great, even better than the original logitech subs. The base is tight and responds fast and gets pretty low for 8inch. The only thing is that they will smell a bit at first because of the glue and stuff but I am pretty sure that is normal because it has almost completely gone away now after about 30 mins.Bottom line for the price you cannot beat it they are excellent.
