Max Factor 2000 Calorie Dramatic Volume Mascara Black, 9ml

I used to be able to buy this mascara anywhere, but now I can’t. I was so happy to see the Amazon had it available to order. I purchased right away and love this mascara. It gives me the volume and drama that I look for in a mascara. I will definitely be stocking up. Thank you Amazon for having it and thank you Max factor for the wonderful glamorous eyes you gave me.

I've been wearing mascara since starting beauty pageantry at 14. I'm now 52. Ive tried many mascaras in my day but I continue to go back to this one. It is the gold standard.

After using an eyelash curler and mascara primer, I applied this mascara. The first time I tried it my eyelashes looked spidery. I realized I wasn't using the applicator correctly; for all mascaras, you have to roll up with the applicator, not just brush it on. (I mean ok, you could just brush it on, if that's the style you like.) To really get the most out of mascaras, you must be precise and take your time when applying the coats. Roll up a few times, try wiggling the brush, roll it up while blinking, etc. The results will be worth it! (I also sprayed on some makeup-lasting spray. How did women live without that??) Again, take your time and really be rigid when applying masacaras, and your eyes and lashes will look AMAZING!

Not the same Max Factor from back in the day. It’s ok but I wouldn’t get again - and when it was readily available in the US years ago it’s all I wore. I can tell a difference - but glad I ordered to get it off my mind as being the best. It’s ok but not worth it anymore.

I am extremely disappointed this item was a think plastic bag no seal or box. There is no expiration date on this. I want my n money back, I feel like I was given a used expired product

Obviously things change. I remember packaging decades ago being a dark blue tub & a thicker formula. The tub exactly like the photo, is now black, arrived individually shrink wrapped with an experation date of 2024. It has a very strong clay makeup sort of smell. Doesn’t irritate my contacts. Goes on fairly smooth with very minimal clumps. It’s a little buildable but carefully so it doesn’t clump. I’d compare it to L’Oréal Voluminous but with out the under eye smudging. Hasn’t flaked off or smudged yet but it’s also only been in the high 70’s for the past couple days vs the high 90’s prior to ordering this. It’s definitely been worth a try.

i bought this mascara as a recommendation from my bestie. I was looking for something with length, and volume and was disappointed with my purchase of maybellines megaplush, the teal colored tube. i had been previously using the colossal lash version of that ( yellow tube) but it was old, and still not what i wanted. but it was the closest i got out of the other ones i tried, the mabellinestiletto one sucked, the loreal million lash sucked, the old school Maybelline Great Lash also really bad, and i think i had one that came in a black and baby pink metallic tube, with some kind of quilted pattern to it. but i don't remember the name.. i have not been happy with ANY of those. and so when she told me about this i was skeptical, but had high hopes as she's a makeup fiend and always has beautiful lashes. and she was sooo right.this mascara made them super long without clumping them together. and was a dark black. they also curled up on their own. so it seems this mascara is light enough to not weigh them down flat. it really does suck that its not sold in the US anymore. this stuff is hands down the best mascara ive ever used. when i get a chance i will definitely be buying a couple more tubes.

I used this mascara years ago and I really liked it. I was super bummed when they stopped carrying Max Factor products in the stores and I couldn't find them anywhere. I've been trying to find a good mascara for a long time because most mascaras I've used clump, flake off, are to heavy for my eyelashes, go on too thick, irritate my eyes, etc. Not this one. I finally found it on Amazon and I was stoked to order it and get it. Putting it on I remember why I liked it so much. It goes on light, doesn't clump, no flaking, and looks great! I thank Amazon for having a wide selection of products and make my day because I found this mascara again! Totally worth it. And when I ordered it, I figured it would come not in a package or unsealed. It was sealed up and wasn't dry at all. This mascara definitely gets my vote.
