This delivers exactly what it says on the packet. It's 100% ginger powder without (so far as I know) any additives. It's unsweetened, so is suitable for diabetics; you can of course add sugar or sweetener to your taste. It's strong. The company recommends adding a sachet to a 100ml cup of hot water. That's a too strong for me. Twice that amount of water is about right for me and it's still quite strong. The water does not need to be boiling; in fact, with very hot water the vapours can catch the back of my throat and make me cough, but that may be just a personal thing. Can you get the same results for a fraction of the price from a small bottle of supermarket ground ginger? Not really. I tried it and the supermarket ginger has a much more bitter taste (and doesn't dissolve completely).

Really hard to find unsweetened ginger tea in the UK, they always seem to have sugar, honey or lemon added. This is good unsweetened tea.

I bought the ‘honey’ sweetened version of thus before and hated it. Because I love ginger so much I’ve kept looking and found this and I am utterly delighted. It is truly delicious. I have subscribed and am anxiously awaiting my next fix to arrive as I finished the original pack so quickly. With summer coming. I can’t wait to try it iced. If you don’t like sickly sweet things and love the true flavour of ginger and it’s natural heat, thus is for you.

Used as described, this was simply too spicy for me!! Watering down further (to about one sachet in two pints hot water) to control the heat i lost the finger flavour. I gave it to my dad who likes his spice more than me, and even he thought it was a bit too much! (but he did take the sachets off me, so think they may be used!!)Great quality pure product, just not for me.

Happy with this sugar free version of ginger tea ! Will recommend if your under the weather or just want something bit strong in this cold weather. Hope u enjoy it as I did.

Was looking for a replacement for another sugar free ginger drink, I used to buy. This product fits the bill. Good, strong but not overly powerful, ginger flavour. Bit on the expensive side but I would buy again.

Taste is horrible

If your looking for a Concentrated pure ginger tea this is it . I had been drinking freshly blended ginger and needed something a little less time consuming . I’m so happy with this having tried some (relatively feeble )organic tea bags I was pleasantly surprised at the impact of this tea which maintains the natural taste or Therapeutic benefits of fresh ginger . I adore this .
