The beautiful glass panes in my double front doors unfortunately have spots in the design that allow someone to peer into the house with unobstructed view. I tried a cloth covering but it darkened the entry too much. Was apprehensive this film might not be opaque enough but decided to try it. So glad I did! It gives complete visual blockage but allows most of the light in and lets the metal/glass design of the windows show through. Does the job just right and visitors don't even notice it. It was a ten minute installation. Easy!

LOVE this! Put on garage windows, allows privacy at all times but still have maximum brightness allowed. Also just added to my bathroom window. With the blinds closed all the time for privacy, it was always quite dark even with the sun shining! I put the glaze on the window, I can open when I want, I have complete privacy no matter what I'm doing, have bright light coming in so I don't need to turn on lights until it gets dark. And even at night I feel very secure with the amount of privacy. Great purchase well worth the money. It's easy to apply, just take your time. Make sure windows are clean for maximum stick

I have used these in apartments where windows faced into other apartments or when we were on the first floor where we put them on the lower half of the windows for privacy. They work extremely well and provide privacy while allowing lots of light through. The reason I say "beware of substitutes"is that there are many look-alikes that say they stick by just wetting them. They stay up briefly and then ALWAYS FALL OFF!These are not the easiest to install and you have to be very careful to get rid of the air underneath. And I wish they came in different widths to avoid seams. But I wouldn't be without these.

Follow the easy instructions listed in the product details. Pull the liner down only an inch or so at a time while using the provided tool to smooth as you go. You will get very little bubbles (which can be fixed by pulling up and reapplying) if you keep the film tout while pulling down. It takes very little time (maybe 20 minutes) and proved to be a very cost effective solution to my problem. It’s a great product!

Lowes used to carry this brand or one like this. Currently, the ones at Home Depot and Lowes are thin, seem no better than a plain frosted window since any patterns on them are so faint. This particular brand has a nice thick sheet, easy to apply and shift without marring compared to others. Also, the patterns are nice and deep so you can really see the effect, Highly recommended.
